Generator purchased
Bought a 22kw and installed by Electric Connection. Very professional, courteous and friendly. Told us what exactly the process would be and then did that. No surprises.

Great Job
I purchased a generator from these guys in February. The installation went just as described and it was up and running in one day. We lost power 2 weeks later for about six hours and the system worked perfectly. No more flooded basement!

Estimate
Called for an estimate and they showed up, the estimate was one page, very generic and the research I did shows they have a few too many failed inspections from the city inspectors for things an installer should know, requiring corrections to be made. I kept lookings.

Beware of this dealer
In April of 2013 I had the Electric Connection install a Generac 20kw for me. I was happy with the installation experience and when I had a serious breakdown of the Generac unit I felt comfortable with them handling the repair but little did I know the terrible experience that would follow. On their initial call to diagnose the problem and their first attempt to fix it they were only an hour and a half late on the appointment. But when they couldn't fix it that evening they said they would be back and we scheduled a second appointment but then they never called or showed. Chalking it up to mistaken communication, even though they never apologized, I set a second appointment with them and even called them 2 hours before they were to be at my house and they replied that they would be there. What do you know they never showed again. So here I am with a non-working generator with less than 5 hours on it wondering who to call now. I don't know how they can sleep at night leaving me hanging like this.
