Caplinger Sales & Service

Not a good idea

Have a Generac portable generator that wouldn't start. They said they fixed it but when I got home, it wouldn't start again. Took it back. When I picked it up the second time, I noticed they had broken off the locking pin to hold the handle up. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Go somewhere else.

Okay for maintenance but not repair

Took my portable generator to them for repair. They tried to start it, wouldn't start (hence the reason for the repair) and did some minor trouble shooting. They stopped all work and told me they would get to it eventually but after 3+ months, nothing. I went and picked it up and now looking for another repair facility. Very unfortunate as I've spent a lot of $ at this business over the last 6 yrs.

Poor service

Bought a Generac portable generator, had problems with it having electric to plugs! Took in for service and still problems and they didn't replace plugs or switch for plugs. Tried to order part to fix it ourselves and they couldn't get part needed! Never Caplinger's again!

Best dealer around by far!

Took care of our generator repair like pronto! Also repaired a pressure washer we bought at a big box store. Next time we'll buy from Caplinger's!
