Poor customer service

I purchased a generator less than a year ago. I noticed a red light on my generator. Beck wanted to charge me to come look at it. I have a 10 Year Warranty and complained about being charged. Then out of the blue, a week or so later, someone from the company shows up to look at the generator. They found a battery cable loose - hmmm. Fixed it and THEN SENT ME A BILL. When I called to complain, they said there was nothing they could do. I asked to get out of my maintenance contract because I feel they cheated me and was told I could not, that I would be charged either way, whether I had the annual service or not. I would be very cautious when dealing with them and get everything in writing. I feel they were trying to take advantage of a single older woman.

The team that I worked with were nothing less than professional and patient with my questions. Every step from the rep that gave me the quote (Dan) to the installation was painless, worry-free, and professional. The unit is placed so that it does not take away from the look of my house and landscaping. I could not have asked for a better company to work with on this purchase.

Best Service

My old house in the country had a backup Generator and I can\u2019t tell you how many times I appreciated the seamless transition to generator power during power outages. That was installed and maintained by Beck Electric Company, they always did a fantastic job with any issues we encountered.I moved into a small town and decided it was worth the investment to install a backup generator, I called Beck Electric, they gave me a quote and in 3 weeks my generator was installed and ready to go. Now that I have one, I\u2019m sure the power will never go out again, but better to have it an not need it, than to need it and not have it. Everyone at Beck Electric is professional, prompt and responsive. The price was fair. If you\u2019re looking for a company that knows what service is, then look no further, you\u2019ll be very happy!

The work was done in a manner that least interfered with our lives. He had the cost calculated before he left our house. That in itself was impressive. The other contractor did not get his quote to us for a week.

Exceeded my Expectations!

Beck Electric from start to finish did everything they said they would do. I found the installation to be professional, prompt and most important done correct the first time. At the conclusion of my installation, Josh's service team setup my online account with me and went over the complete operation. I have complete details on my iPhone every Saturday when the unit starts and runs in practice mode. I lost power for over an hour and the Generac worked and powered my condo perfectly. I can travel and not worry about the security system, sump pump, furnace or AC not being powered. I would highly recommend Beck Electric.

Dishonest dealer

We purchased a whole home generator from Beck. We were quoted for the unit installed. It took weeks for them to deliver the generator after they had received payment from the bank. They said they would install it on one day and never called when they chose not to show up. When they did deliver the unit, they did not hook it up. Sent info to Generac to start our warranty and we didn't even have a functional unit. Beck informed us that they would find someone to hook up the generator but there would be an additional fee. Quote stated delivery and installation there should have been no confusion.
