for a dealer that prides itself on carrying quality products, their service of those prodcust is very poor

I purchased a Generac power washer and 2 weeks later a fitting exploded as I started the engine. Went to Bairs early Saturday. I was told it appears as a faulty casting. They could order the part on Monday (why not on a Saturday?) and it would be in by Wednesday. I called on Thursday and asked if the part was in. "Stil getting deliveries, I'll call you when it's in" I was told firmly. On Friday I called again and was told "I'll check and get back to you". On Monday I called and asked if they have a tracking system that could estimate delivery. I finally got a call back on Tuesday and was told the part is on backorder for a month. I'm not impressed with the attitude or service in the parts department and this will definately stop me from buying any further equipement from Bairs.

Called them in the morning (I talked to Bill) about availability and price and to verify that they provided service. Went there in the early afternoon. Talked to Bill again. He answered all of my questions. I then purchased the pressure washer. It was delivered to my home (assembled, ready to use) later that afternoon as promised. I paid a very reasonable delivery fee (compared to much closer retail sales outlets.
