Did a terrible job

I'm in a very rural location and have very limited options, so went with this company because I found them on the Generac certified list of service providers. I built a new home and purchased a 27KW Gen (water-cooled), so a little more complex than the 20KW air-cooled models. This particular dealer makes it a policy to have the propane service provider install the propane connection (NOTE: that's not the common practice from what I found out -- and it certainly created problems). However, this certified Generac installer had no idea about the basics of where to locate the propane regulator. Per Generac, the regulator must be a minimum of 5' from the fuel solenoid for it to operate correctly -- or risk damage to the solenoid (which did occur). After several (~4) attempts over the course of a year, this company failed to get it right. So, I had to find another company over two hours away to come out and set up the generator correctly. Generac refused to do anything about it, and the company refused to provide me a refund. So, I am out several thousand for a botched install that I had to pay another certified Generac company several thousand dollars to fix. Bottom line: Just because you use a certified Generac company provides you no guarantee of a job well done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

No Emergency Service!

These folks do a great job with service and repair. However, my generator has failed twice on weekends and Woodhill doesn't provide emergency service. When the generator fails during a power outage, I want someone to show up. As a result I have switched to another contractor.

3 weeks still waiting for them

Have ecogen generator of the grid .first time I had a problem came right away was very happy with service .now that the generator is not marking power it's been 3 weeks still waiting called keep telling me maybe next week

Outstanding

I had a big issue getting anyone to do warrantee service on my generator. Woodhill Electric offered to make the 5- 6 hour round trip to fix my generator when others much closer would not. They came when they said they would, they fixed the problem and were very pleasant to deal with. If I were having a generator installed in the north country or needed any other electrical work done Woodhill Electric is the company to call. Thank you Bob and Dan!

Great service!

We had a problem with a new transfer switch on the first test operation. Woodhill Electric LLC. was terrific handling the warranty repair quickly and effectively. Their technician had to travel almost 90 miles right after an ice storm to replace the failed part. Everyone involved was extremely helpful and pleasant. I definitely recommend them for their expertise and customer service.

Awesome dealer

We had been having problems with another generac certified dealer and are located 50 miles from the closest service provider. This company came the day after we called, fixed the problem we had and provided the annual servicing. He explained what he was doing as he went along. Recommended to our neighbor and he serviced her generator the same day. Would definitely recommend this company.
