Tri-state Water, Power & Air

Generator Pros

Great generator company that does quality work and installations

14kW Generac Installed

My wife and I were just sick of throwing out our deep freezer full of food every time we'd lose power (living in the country in Indiana). We had a few estimates from other dealers on this website but they either didn't seem to know what they were talking about or they were waaaay too high priced. One of them kept trying to sell us a system bigger than we needed! After 4 estimates (Tristate was 3rd) we went back to Tristate. Install happened about a week after we made our deposit (just 25% down... everyone else wanted 50% or ALL of it up front). Our biggest concern was passing inspection... some of the other guys kept trying to say it was okay to put the generator near our AC which is right by our bedroom windows. Tristate trenched around the corner and put it on the side away from any openings (apparently there's a law that says minimum 5ft from windows and doors) without charging extra for the work. Not sure if we're supposed to say the price, but it was under $15K all-in with permits, inspections, pad, transfer switch, power management system, and the mobile app. I would absolutely recommend 100%.
