Terrible

The man from Granite, Kevin i think, made an appt. with me for Thursday morning at 10AM which caused me to take time off from work to be home at 10AM. He never showed up and i called him at 10:15am to see if he was coming and never even answered the phone. Terrible service, stay away from this place!

Excellent job

Great job installing we recently had an outage and the Generac worked like a charm.

Granite service is excellent

We have Granite's remote monitoring. On the few occasions where they have received notice of a problem, they have even fixed it before we became aware of it. They have even cleared the snow away from the intake to be certain the unit would run smoothly.

DO NOT USE!!!

We were down and I called for service but no one showed, then the next day he called for payment saying my generator was back online. I had to laugh while on the phone with him because I was in my driveway with a new service provider. He claimed his guy fixed it, so I told him have his guy come right now. Well, to find out his guy shows and says his boss gave him the wrong address. Unbelievable, I bought the generator 6 years ago, they did the install and maintained it and now all of sudden you do not know my address. To this day he never apologized and blamed me for not filling out some form for last years maintenance.

Kevin has responded to all questions and concerns that we have had since the generator was installed to the time it was up and running. He came after the installation was complete and fully explained the operation of the generator to me. I had one minor problem (an error code came up) with the generator the day before a snow storm. I called Kevin and explained the issue. He came over during the snow storm, which was the next day to make sure our generator was o.k. This was the day before Thanksgiving! He then called me to let me know that it was alright, I was very pleased and impressed that he showed up, not many places would do that.

Horrible experience

My calls were never returned. When I did get him on the phone, he was unprofessional and rude. The service contract was not fulfilled. I went to another provider for service. I wasted my time and money with this company.

Stay Away

I have paid Kevin from Granite thousands of dollars over the last 5 years to maintain my 45KW generac. About a month before hurricane sandy, I notified him that my generator was broken. He came several times saying he had fixed the problem. About a week before the hurricane hit, I tested the generator and it did not work. He came out again, and claimed he fixed it. He lied. When the hurricane hit, the generator did not even turn on. When I called him to report my issue again he didn't care. If you want to pay a service guy $500-600 for a couple oil changes per year, go ahead and hire Granite. If you want a company that will actually fix your generator when it breaks, find someone else.
