Generator Purchase and Install

Suburban Electric was great to deal with throughout the entire process. Mike and Susan made me aware of generator specials that were available and spoke with me about what needed to be done to complete the generator install. The technicians were prompt, friendly and informative and even completed work in the pouring down rain. I highly recommend Suburban Electric.

I contacted Suburban Electric for a quote on a whole house generator for our home on Hatteras Island NC. They promptly responded to my email, assessed my house's needs and provided a quote for a 22KW Generac. Their explanation of the process was clear and concise. When the time came for the installation their communication was spot on and they came to do the work when they said they would (not always a common occurrence on the island).Their technicians were friendly, polite and took the time to explain the process and operation of the generator. Communication with their office was pleasant and easy. I've recommended Suburban Electric to a friend who is now in the market for a generator.

Generator service

After having dealt with another unnamed Generac dealer who did not correct our generator issues (& charged a lot more for their maintenance contract, Suburban Electric stepped in & resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Mike & Jason arrived exactly when they were scheduled, & answered all my questions thoroughly. We also had another outdoor outlet installed, & the work/cleanup was perfect. Mike also gave us ideas for deck lighting for next spring. And last but not least, Susan for her prompt response to my inquiries. A pleasure to do business with this company! Great job guys!!!

Excellent Dealer

I highly recommend this dealer. From the first time that I walked into their office until the completed installation of my new Generac generator I was treated as if we had been friends forever. Now, I will certainly be a customer of theirs for life. Their professionalism, and expertise are "top notch". The operation of the unit was explained to me in detail so that I can safely use this generator. The proper maintenance procedures were also explained. Great organization

My wife and I appreciate the quick response to our requests. The installation was done during unusual storm conditions created by Mother Nature and Dominion Electric when they needed to handle power outages in the area. Everyone completed their portion of the job in a professional manner and we are very satisfied with the good work and timeliness considering the obstacles encountered.
