K Hanrahan was professional, pleasant to deal with, and their maintenance follow-up is very organized. Their work was exceptionally neat and meticulous. Would recommend them to anyone looking to install a generator.

We lose power regularly for days at a time. When I finally convinced my husband to get a generator, we began the process of getting estimates from several dealers. We had several people tell us that the electrical system in our house was very complex and a whole house generator would be very difficult to install. The estimates for electrical work were very high. We then had Speer Air at our house to repair the air conditioning system. When speaking to the crew member, we found out that they install generators, so we made an appointment to get an estimate. From the first meeting with Rick, we knew that Speer was the company for us. They immediately had a plan for a simpler installation and their price was very reasonable. They had a lot of experience installing whole house generators in our neighborhood. Rick monitored our project every step of the way and was incredibly responsive to our questions. He usually answered my emails with minutes and he kept the project moving forward. Every member of the crew was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Rick worked well with the town to get the appropriate permits and inspections. Rick even scrambled to get our generator completed and turned on the day before an ice storm hit! Two crew members educated us on the care and maintenance of our generator. We will definitely be using Speer Air for service in the future and I would highly recommend them!

I had a pleasant experience using Speer Air for my Generac generator project. After losing power for 3 days after Irene, and 7 days after Sandy, the portable generator was no longer practical since I work from home. I researched a whole-home solution since January and got multiple quotes from area dealers. Rick in sales answered all my questions very quickly. I decided to go with Speer since the price was better, and I had prior experience with them when I had central AC installed in my home. (They were the only company who knew how to get central AC into a crawlspace for my upstairs, when others said I couldn\u2019t, but that\u2019s another story!) The project went smoothly from start to finish. After getting the needed town permits, they began work. The crew was good to work with, and did the job right. They answered any questions I had and didn\u2019t mind, since I like to know how things work. I passed all inspections with the town immediately, and the generator works nicely when it\u2019s tested with the house\u2019s load. I had a slightly complex install since I own a 2 family house, so I needed a bigger generator, two transfer switches, and load shedding. They did an excellent job, and now I am ready for any future storms or general power outages. I\u2019d highly recommend Speer Air. I also added on the Mobile Link to my install, so that I can be notified by Email and text message of any generator events when not at home, which is a plus.
