Spectrum Electric

Great company, confidence

I bought the Generac automatic standby generator to be defensive of potentially severe snow and now our more frequent wind and wild fire risk days where utility power may not be stable. I am more confident now to shake my fist at the sky and say “do your worst.” Spectrum exceeded all expectations. Javier provided a professional quote and easily adjusted to match my comfort and knowledge of electrical issues. Miguel was a master electrician who handled the breaker box, transfer switch, and disconnect while overseeing the site crew. Ryan batted clean up by completing the gas connection, initializing the remote monitoring, and starting the unit. Kristen handled the phone, scheduling, and inspections. The county inspector and gas company technician both recognized Spectrum’s workmanship and complemented the company without prompting. I explored small portable generators but did not want to move equipment or run extension cords to the fridge and freezer. Well pumps and furnaces require more. I considered big portable/wheeled generators but they are thirsty and soon require clear roads and a working gas station. Safely placing and, weather dependent, clearing area for these units 25 ft from the house and running a 30A or 50A connection cord is not something I can ask my family to do if I’m away. Generators derate under natural gas and derate again at altitude. The Generac units have enough name-plate rating to support whole-house loads after these losses. Portables will likely leave you disappointed. The Generac is installed, tested, and linked to my phone. It is quite enough to hardly notice during its exercise cycle. I look forward to years of power backup confidence, whether or not I loose utility power.

Reliable backup.

Continuing reliable backup for 5 years. Curtious and efficient annual service again today.

Fantastic crew & Install

We could not be happier with the installation of our 25kw standby generator. The crews including Ryan Majure, Javier, Miguel, Ivan, Jesus, Bobby and others were very professional, courteous and friendly. They did their part of the installation in less time than the estimated window. For the first part they were exposed to the elements, rain and snow. They did a great job explaining the process, the timing, etc. I highly recommend them!

Great Service

We had our annual maintenance done by RyanM at Spectrum Electric and, as always, he did a fantastic job. On time and all tasks accomplished.

Superior customer service

Spectrum Electric ALWAYS comes through for me! I know they get swamped when there is a power outage, but they somehow manage to get their technicians to my house the same day I call them...every time! I don't know how they do that, and I certainly don't expect that, but it is definitely superior customer service. Their techs are great, very professional, and have always fixed my generator! I would highly recommend Spectrum Electric!

A lifesaver!

I'm on oxygen and must have reliable power despite my remote location. My standby Generac generator ensures that, despite a number of power losses each year, and especially now that the power company is shutting down power often now with high fire risk from dry and windy conditions here in the foothills just went of Denver. My Generac dealer has been awesome, not only in my original purchase and the installation, but awesome customer service with 24/7 monitoring and and annual tune-ups. Thank you!

Total endorsement!

It's no wonder why Spectrum Electric has so many excellent reviews - it's because they truly are a fantastic company with a fantastic product. We just had our second Generac installed at our rental property after having ours for the past six years. It was a no brainer to have them do it. Kristin and her office staff are totally on top of it and their process from A-Z is flawless. Look no further and just sign up!
