The owner/ electrician was extremely thorough, professional, and made sure everything was done just right. He took the time to set up the Mobile App for me and showed me what I need to know about the Generac.

I am 100% pleased with Specialized Power Services out of Brighton, MI. From the first conversation with the Sales Rep, Mark N., through the Final Installation and Turnover of the 22Kw Generac Generator, by owner Mark, everything went smoothly and the job was done in a Professional and efficient manner.

the technicians were efficient, polite and professional. They told us what they were doing and then did it, Cannot think of any needed improvements.

I received three bids for the installation of a 1800 kw whole house generator. SPS was the only contractor who had no problem placing the generator where I wanted it installed. I know my home and the direction of the prevailing winds to carry away exhaust fumes. My selected site required a trench 13 feet long. The other two bidders wanted to pick locations where it was easier for them to install it even though it would expose our living area to the noise of a running generator. They told me if I wanted my generator there I would have to dig the trench myself. SPS just went ahead included the trench in the job and placed the generator exactly where I asked. My job required three inspections, all scheduled by Nikki the office manager at SPS, a gas line and an electrical inspection on the open trench and a final electrical inspection on the finished job. All three inspectors commented on how professionally the work was done. During the installation SPS backfilled the trench and leveled the ground. They know how to finish a job.All of the people at SPS were great to work with. Mark Neumaier the sales manager was very down to earth and customer focused, He provided a detailed itemized work proposal and cost estimate. Nikki Golden is the office manager and she kept the job moving acting as the organizer between all the moving parts of the project. She kept me informed and calm, especially appreciated by my wife, about delivery delays for the generator and transfer switch. The installation crew was excellent. In less than 4 hours the generator and transfer switch were installed and fully functional. I really enjoy the Mobile Link Feature which reports the status of my Generac to my cell phone.I Highly recommend SPS for your generator needs. They are professional and honest. They did a first class job and held the price they bid.

We just replaced an eighteen year old generator with a 24KW system. SPS installed the unit earlier than expected. Their installers were great and the service is top notch. The office staff kept us up to date on every step of the process and even let us know when the generator was showing offline. I would highly recommend SPS for anyone looking for a generator.

While they were very busy, they found openings to get my generator installed and they did a great job. They worked clean and fast. They also took care of all permitting needs.

June 2021The price quote was very precise and broken down to the last nut and bolt needed. I knew what I was paying for. Install was completed in 2 phases, pad and gas line, then Generator/transfer switch and wiring. I haven't had a need to use it just yet, but piece of mind now that it is operational. SPS did a fantastic job, neat, clean, very professional.I have recommended them to other friends and neighbors.

September 2020 SPS installed a Generac standby generator for me. They installed it ahead of the scheduled date. AND my power went out for about 10 hours about a month later. Man! was I glad to have the Generac on duty. SPS have been so great to deal with. They explain things for me and I feel confident that if I need their assistance or expertise, they will be there for me, too.

The process to get the Generac installed was relatively smooth from start to finish. I would recommend the company.

The person who came out to do the estimate was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide the correct recommendations for my house and usage. Their office person did a great job on scheduling and follow-up, and their installers were did a really great installation. Our experience with SPS was great from the initial assessment and quote from the sales person, (done in a very timely manner), right through to the installation (which included work done by the owner, and in our case, was not the easiest installation) to the follow-up and assistance by the office staff in getting set up with the cell phone capability to monitor the generator. Every person we dealt with was professional, helpful and very competent. We would not hesitate SPS to recommend to anyone after our very good experience, which I already have!

Scott came and did a walk threw with our property and home he said we needed a new gas meter for starters. Nikki (office manager) took care of all arrangements with the gas company for us.We had to get the 22kw generator for our home. Our lot is 120ft long and the gas meter was in the front on one end, and we had generator installed in back on the opposite end. Chris of South Lyon Plumbing, did a magnificent job running the piping from the meter, threw the rafters of the house to the backside and all the way down and around to the generator. Chris and Blaine made a great plumbing team as did Scott and John on the electrical work.The electrical was in the general area of installation.Both teams were conscientious of all the little things, a big plus...I made my decision to use Specialized Power Services based on what i read in the comment section. They are 5 star... their you have it.

Frequent power outages from storms finally convinced us to invest in a residential standby generator for our home/home office. We spoke to a handful of dealers/installers, but SPS's low pressure approach and deep knowledge of Generac products made them the obvious choice.

Generator set-up was done very well and was customized for our needs. Service has been excellent. The generator works great. If you get one, have it placed on the cement foundation and get the remote indoor sensor that contimuously tells you the generator's status.
