We evaluated proposals from and interviewed three Roanoke area generator installers; our choice of South River Contracting was based primarily on the professionalism of owner. He and his crew did a first-class job installing a 22kw natural gas generator model 6552 for about twice the unit cost. They rewired our 400 amp service so that half of the circuits, which we identified, were backed up. Quality was paramount to us and to this company. When I discovered that they missed backing up one circuit, they returned to the house promptly to correct their oversight. It is pleasing to see such professionalism.
