Terrible dealer
The owner is Darrly. Took one year to get and install my generac. He kept changing the date. They connected the wires incorrectly, causing about $2200 of damage to home items, such as oven, lights, and fans, which he promised to pay for, but never did (I owed him $940, but did not pay it). He had agreed to get me an extended warranty for years 6 to 10, but did not. I spent tons of time calling and emailing, with great difficulty getting him to reply. Then, I called Generac and they told me he was not even a certified service dealer (only a certified installer) so he couldn't have serviced my unit for warranty work anyway, which he never told me. He kept saying all of this would be taken care of, but he simply wasn't truthful. He talks a lot, but don't believe him. After over 2 months waiting on him to make good, I finally cut off the communications.

Generac 48kw
I needed the orific change out from natural gas to propane. Called Solarator for an estimate and when they arrived said it would be $640.00 dollars. I went back and forth they tried to tell me all the effort and work that was required. I was on the phone with Generac and finally said fine get it running. Brandon the tech who is the nephew of the owner Darrel played around with the unit for 2 hours. Never could get it to run. Tried telling me it was the gas regulator or because they did not install it, it was not under warranty. I installed the unit had the gas company hook it up and an electrician install the transfer switch. I could not get it to run and Generac said I need to change the oriffic to propane. I told Brandon the unit is under warranty he said it Solarators policy to not work on anything they did not install. Which was BS but I wanted it working. In the end they could not get in operating and then sent a bill for $640.00 which I disputed as i used my Amex and won the dispute. Prior to disputing I notified Generac of the issue and they contacted Darrel but he never called me. So I called him and basically he told me to screw off. I told him I would dispute and not pay he said he would have Brandon call me and come back out. Brandon did not call, I disputed and won. I then called Native and it was like working with a real company who was professional and honest. I would NEVER recommend Solorator for anything even if it was just to clean a portable toilet.

Another No Show!
My review is years too late but the recurring theme seems to be on going. I set up 2 appointments which both were No Shows....and No Calls!

GENERAC Needs to rethink this dealer
I have called several times, left messages with 2 personnel to "Call me right back" and no call back, Called again one lady said her system was slow and would have another person call back, when that did not happen. I called back yet again and she stated she would refer me to the owner, who did not call either. Thank god they are not "First Responders" they would never get to you. Good luck with this dealership.

Waited all afternoon. No show, no call.
Between 12 and 4 pm. That's what Solarator said. It's 4:30 and I'm still waiting and while I'm waiting I'm writing this review. Try another company. I don't suggest Jon Wayne Electric. They did unnecessary work at our house that cost us $3,000 for work we were not able to use.

Rude and not dependable
I scheduled an appt with them to which they didn’t show up....no phone call, nothing. So then I called them to reschedule and give them another chance. The day before the appt. a very rude guy calls and asks if I’m serious about a generator because he doesn’t want to come to my house if I’m not serious. I told him I am very serious about buying. So the appt day comes and he doesn’t show up. No phone call...nothing...again. Pitiful
