Solar Sound Corporation

Just in time.....

Bought and got installed one week prior to a hugely disastrous windstorm in South Dakota. Provided the standby power that was most definitely needed. Was installed efficiently and with very knowledgeable staff. The Generac name continues to be praiseworthy.

Great Company and Crew

This project went amazing start to end. From the ease of the initial quote to identifying specific needs (such as a custom stand for a high snow area) to the final install in which the crew even came back to fix an unrelated issue at our mains panel. They were thorough, tidy, and efficient. The generator itself is an amazing unit, quiet and fully functional. With the additional support of the add-on yearly maintenance package (super inexpensive) I don't even have to worry about yearly maintenance.

Good product

It gives me great peace of mind to know I have this security

Great Company.

The Generac unit has performed as specified in the literature. The staff from Lighting Maintenance were courteous and the installation was done in a professional manner. We are satisfied with the product and expect that it will meet our requirements should they be needed.

Queen of the Hill

Dear Sir, I am the Proud Owner of two Generacs. I saw your add on weather station and you referred me to Solar Sound. Mike came to my home and explained your product in full. I live in the country, have my own well, so needed two Generacs. I’m elderly and on oxygen 24/7. The units were in on a Monday and 5 days later the electricity went out. I felt like Queen of the Hill. I didn’t have to pull around an oxygen tank! I was so excited, called Mike to let him know he got the units installed just in time. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I thank you and my family thanks you. And I’m very thankful that Solar Sound in Rapid carries your generators. Sincerely, Maureen

Unquestionable Professionalism and Service

Having just been discarded by a generator-service company which ultimately declined to work on my existing generator, and then charged me an exhorbitant amount for the privilege of being ignored for 4 months, I turned to Lighting Maintenance, Solar Sound Corp., for help. Smartest decision I've made in a long time. This company was more than willing to help, ordering a replacement generator for me, moving it to a more convenient location, setting it up in a timely manner, and then cleaning up after themselves. They've been at my house several times on their own initiative, insuring that all was working as advertised and immediately correcting any problems as they occurred without any proding from me. I haven't had to look over their collective shoulders to insure things got done. They finished off everything on their own. Great service. I couldn't reccomend them any higher.

I would highly recommend this dealer and his staff!

My parents are elderly and my father is confined to a wheelchair. Paul, Mike, Braden and Zade went above and beyond for us. They took care of absolutely everything: from contacting the electric company to make sure we ordered them the correct unit, to keeping us updated on when installation was going to take place, taking care cutting up my mother’s sod so it could be replaced back as it was found, and completely cleaning up before they left. In just 2 days, they gave all of us the security of knowing that our parents and their children will no longer have to worry what they are going to do when the power goes out again! Thank you for being compassionate with them and taking the extra time to answer all their questions and help my mom restore her beloved yard!!!! Such a class act!!!
