Great business do deal with!

I have dealt with hundreds of businesses through my career and as a home owner, of all of them Smith Power Group just stand right out. Their pride in their family business shines. Nice down to earth people who know their business.I found Smith Power Group several years ago as the result of a letter from Generac regarding a generator recall. Generac recommended using a dealer, they were one in on the list. When they came for the recall, I asked if they would show me what it was and what it did, with not a hesitation they did just that. They also showed me a little corrosion around the battery and took care of it. Fortunately, I was not part of the recall, but I knew then I found my dealer and they have been doing my service since. Moving up to July 2021. My family had them install a Generac generator in the home of our mother. They were always willing throughout the process to answer any questions. They obtained all the permits and after the install informed us when all the inspections would take place. Everything was done very neatly if not for the generator we never would have known they were there.

I couldn't be happier!

Carlton Smith came out, went over our needs, and gave us an estimate as to the cost, which was the final cost - no gimmicks or add-ons. As soon as we were ready, he obtained all necessary permits and began installation. They needed access to the inside of the house for a while during installation - it happened to be the coldest day of the year. Even though most of the work was done outside - Carlton and his assistant continued until the job was finished - so I would not have to take time off work to be home. During the snow storm (March 2017) we lost power for the first time since installation (for 12 hours) and the generator worked like a charm. Carlton was always friendly and professional, as was Mary in the office. She kept us up to date all the way through the process. I would highly recommend Smith Power Group.
