Great Company

Called Smart Electric about a generator. They took the time to explain to me how it all works. They came out quickly to see about the install and helped me decide where to put it. They handled getting the proper inspections and everything. A few days after the install, I had an electrical problem. Called them and they came out almost immediately. They quickly found the problem, which had nothing to do with the installed generator. They fixed my problem and didn't charge me anything. Great company to work with.

Smart Electric makes maintenance Simple and Friendly and at a reasonable cost. My Generac just kicks on and does what it’s suppose to do.

Great job and professional! Smart Electric Found the issue my generator had and had it working in no time! they do know about generators and electricity. Had two companies come and check why our house generator wasn’t working. They changed parts, but the generator still didn’t work. Very thankful for Ben’s knowledge about generators and electricity. Not only he made the generator work, but he also tested it for us! Professional team and AMAZING customer service! Molly was very patient with setting up appointments and guide me through finding information about the generator 🙏🏽

Outstanding Service

I had an appointment to get my ancient gas furnace tuned up and I have to say, the technician Kevin did an excellent job. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. It started with how nice and polite he was. He put a mask on when I asked without giving me a hard time. This is very appreciated. Then he noticed something was not hooked up (the fan only function) and he fixed it. Then he noticed the holder for my filter wasn't seated right so he fixed that (which was no small amount of work), and then he cleaned two areas of the furnace I NEVER saw anyone else clean in the 15 years I have lived here. Then he cleaned everything up and made sure to explain everything well and made sure I was happy with everything. I cant even believe the excellent service. On top of that he was quick, efficient but did not make me feel rushed. This ancient furnace is working better than it has in years! Do not hesitate to go with Smart Electric - they are top notch - oh yeah - on top of all of this great service, the price was $100 less than other companies I had out to do the same job! The other companies charged more and did less. Smart Electric just got a customer for life. I highly recommend!!!

Company with Integrity

We live in an area that tends to lose power during storms and sometimes for several days at a time. We have a septic on a pump system, a bathroom that uses an ejector pump, a lizard that needs heat, 2 grandkids living here and we need WiFi for work. We had a gasoline generator and hook in to our electric panel, but it wasn’t clean energy and a lot of work to set up, especially during a storm. We decided to invest in a generac generator. Another company insisted we needed to replace our gas line because it wasn’t large enough and our meter needed to be updated to support a gas generator or we could have a propane generator. I contacted PSE and they said that neither was the case and questioned why they wanted to install a 24kw generator. Suddenly they didn’t need to replace the gas line or meter. The quote they gave me had no itemization and w/o the new gas line was $19k. I decided to look at other companies as I felt this company wasn’t on the up and up. On the generac site, they recommended Smart Electric. They had me take pictures and send them in. They felt confident that I only needed a 10kw generator and quoted me almost 1/2 the price as the other company. They were friendly, professional, honest and trustworthy. Pre installation they marked the circuits that we needed to have running and were even able to move up the install date. They showed up on time and the installation was done in one day. They cleaned up afterwards and did a thorough walkthrough with me on how the generator worked and did a demonstration. Now I have peace of mind and won’t constantly be worried about storms. Thank you Smart Electric for being a company with integrity and not run on high pressure, commission sales.

Completely Professional

I purchased a home standby generator system from SMART electric. They were completely professional from start to finish. Their communication was top notch. This is the way I like to do business, especially when spending a large amount of money. I would completely trust this company with any electrical job. They went over and above my expectations and I feel good about my purchase.

24kW for 1/2 the price!

We had another company come down and quote us a 24kW Generac for our house in Woodinville and it seemed fishy with the gigantic price tag. We then did some research on Generac's website and found Smart Electric, Heating and Air. Not only did they charge 1/2 the price for the 24kW, they also ended up replacing our old AC unit with a new one AND added a minisplit for less than the cost of just the generator quote from the other company... AMAZING!!! Whole team was amazing from when I called and spoke with Kristi who got me an estimate with Joe and then we met Steve, Josh from the electrical team and then Kevin and Ben from the HVAC team. Jenny was A+++ on getting permits handled and this entire installation was COMPLETED IN ONE DAY! Happy to recommend this company, they don't need to retire off of one job, they've earned a company for life.

Extreme Integrity!

They installed a Generac generator at my mothers home in Sammamish which was a very difficult place to do so. They were very patient with us as we tried to find a location around the house that would meet sammamish codes and still not be a sour thum. It took several months to come up with the right spot, but eventually we got it done just before 3 winter storms took out power at my moms home three times in a row. My mom's neighbors had to wait for up to 3 days to get power back but my mother never lost power with her natural gas Generator. And then smart electric gave both my mother and I wonderful Christmas gifts . By the way, Joe, the owner and the electrician, at Smart electric showed extreme integrity. He would only do things the right way, no cutting corners. Joe also always returned our calls in a timely manner, even when he was on vacation. Use Joe for all your electrical needs. By the way I have 5 years experience as a maintenance manager at a 40,000 sqr foot manufacturing plant, with an electrical engineering degree and 13 years experience as a general contractor. I don't give high marks to just anybody. I'm very picky.
