Poor customer service

Took my money to professionals and not these guys. Mr. Patrick had minimal knowledge of the generator questions I had for him and seemed too bothered to research them also! For the amount they cost I'll go somewhere that I know I'll have future questions answered!

Constantly needing repairs

Go somewhere else! Good luck getting a return phone call, good luck getting your repairs taken care of. Good luck getting your bill corrected after multiple visits with no results.

Don't waste your time!

Not only is the salesperson Tom rude & only talks about himself. He has hardly any knowledge of the generator he is selling. My wife & I had questions we wanted answered before making an expensive purchase, but luckily for us instead of our neighbors who lost power in a storm we had time to look around & ask around. Many people said that Tom is quick to respond when you want to initially buy but good luck trying to contact him when there is trouble. We went with another company who we are thrilled with but steer clear of this company!

Outstanding service and support

We have been customers of Simmons H&C for 13 years. They have worked with us during a major renovation of a 100 year old house, through major flood damage, and now installing a standby generator. Our install was challenging due to the flood plain and our electrical system but, as always, Simmons did the job on time and per their quote. They took care of the permits and inspections, not always an easy task in our historic district. They cleaned up each day and never left a mess. I recommend this company without reservation.

What a great company!

These guys are fabulous! They are professional, courteous and extremely well versed in whole house generators. We did get another quote from another company for comparison. Simmons had ALL of the bases covered for our generator install--no hidden fees or surprises. We are very impressed with them. They kept right to the timetable and finished the job on time. The guys kept us informed every step of the way--from the initial install to the final city inspection. What a pleasant experience! I had a GENERAC generator put in about six months ago. We finally decided to get one after almost every family in our neighborhood had one and referred Simmons. What a great referral. I made an appointment with Tom Patrick and that was it. Simmons had the generator installed within the week with a wonderful install crew that was prompt and professional.
