Shumake Electric, LLC

Good piece of equipment

I have had my generac for a year, and it has probably come on about 5 times in that time. The best part is I don't have to worry about bailing water from my sump pump, and if the power outage happens during the hot summer, I still have AC. I would advise everyone to get a generac powerful enough to handle AC. It is a true blessing.

Out for the sale

Had a qualified electrician come after no response. He named the installer by name and laughed. They reinstalled leveled and put on a GenPad, installed cold weather kits and maintenanced correctly. Apples to apples should have went with qualified electrician not a home show salesman. Thank you CSH Electrical for standing by Generac products and giving us a premier quality service. Shumake is out for the quick sale wham bam thank you madam sale. Honesty and integrity not Shumakes virtue. Call a licensed experienced professional who sell you what you actually need and install correctly.

Great experience!

Just had 22kw generator installed yesterday. Team was on time, professional, and finished early. Clean up was great. Jim, the owner, was easy to work with from time of inquiry through site inspection and installation. We have piece of mind now if power goes out. Highly recommend this dealer.

Shumake Electric LLC is a first class dealer with a first class team of employees.

Shumake Electric LLC installed a 22kw home standby generator at my home on July 21, 2021. His 3 professional installers arrived at 800AM and were finished by 400PM. They did an outstanding job, and they worked together to give me a professional installation. His employees were very neat in appearance, very respectful, and courteous. I highly recommend his company for any generator needs or electrical requirements.

Great service

Very professional, great product knowledge, easy to talk to. Very responsive to the customer, highly recommend.

Would Recommend Jim and his team

Jim and his team were on time and did a great job. From the first visit to look over the location and helping to choose the generator that would suit my needs, to the giving me a basic timeline when the installation would occur. once the generator arrived to them we set up a date and time for the install. Jim and his team arrived on time and ready to install the unit. It took one day and was operational when they finished for the day, and they cleaned up the area when they completed the work.

Flawless Process

From the first encounter with Shumake Electric, I knew this was going to be a process that was going to be a good one. First of all, the sizing of the generator process was a no pressure one -no oversell-. We discussed my needs and settled on an appropriate model. Every step of the transaction was transparent and I knew there wouldn't be any "By the way, we forgot to include this" .. Communication between the company and myself was very good while we waited for the unit to arrive. Also, Shumake Electric coordinated with my propane source, so on the day that the unit was to be installed, the propane supplier would be at my residence. Installation of the unit went flawlessly and I was given the proper instructions on how to operate the generator. Before they left for the day, the crew made sure everything was cleaned up. I would definitely recommend Shumake Electric if you are thinking about any electrical work or a generator.

I would NOT normally rate anyone at the top but

If you have the honor of dealing with this Company, you will see why a did. Normal a high score is a good recommendation, so they will think about improving their operation. But the Company start the job right with a complete estimate. They cover all the bases, didn't leave items to be found later. When the workers on the job. They were friendly. They do their work as if your house was theirs. They take time to do in right. In today world, it was a pleasure to find Shumake Electric and am sure Generac is glad to have representing their Company

I have confidence in Shumake Electric.

Jim Shumake and his crew recently installed a home generator that will provide backup power to run my entire home. They are as persnickety as I am about doing things right. I like that a lot. The purchase and installation process could not have been better especially when considering weather issues. I have confidence in Shumake Electric to take care of my generator for years to come. It's a good feeling.
