Investing in a Generac was a huge decision. Mr. Root met with us and patiently went over everything we needed to know. He performed a detailed assessment on the size unit that would best serve our needs, and never tried to "over sell" us, or make us feel pressured. His professionalism coupled with his genuine caring about us as his customers, did not end when our unit was installed. He keeps our maintenance on schedule, so we know it will be ready to automatically come on during an outage. This past winter during a very bad ice storm, our Generac ran constantly for more than a week. Unbelievable as it sounds, Mr. Root came by on his own, to be sure everything was working correctly. We got our 22kw generator installed and hooked up. It works great! Root Electric is the dealer we used. They are professional and courteous; and knows their way around these generators. Thanks to Pat and his team; they made quick work of the install. As it should, the wiring, etc., looks professional. When finished they ensured the job site was clean and in order before leaving. This company is outstanding, kept me informed from the beginning. Did a outstanding job, even the inspector said how neat it was installed. I had a bid from HD and Lowes, both store contractors were lacking in responding and very high priced compared to Root. I would recommend this Contractor to everyone. He has outstanding knowledge of these Generators and has the correct expertise. I was impressed Highly. If you live in Southside Virginia , don't look pass this company.

This guy is aces!

My generator blew out a starter while Hurricane Irma was projected to come right over my farm. I called Root Electric and he responded within an hour, showed up within two hours and had me up and running with the new parts within 24 hours. Could not have been happier! Totally trust this company.

Very Satisfied!

Ater talking with 3 dealers and getting estimates I chose Root Electric Skipwith VA. He took me to a site he had installed. Work looked great, so I decided to l have him install a Generac Guardian 20k generator in my 90 y.o. mothers home. I expalined to him that she lived in a very rural area. All negotiations was done over the phone since I lived in Atlanta GA. He said installation would take one day at which time I could be there. Installation went great, all in one day, as promised and did a excellant job. Very pleased and satisfied.
