Telephone troubleshooting

Had them come out, generator not working. Replaced display board for $750. Week later it stops running. Call them up and they said they would order a board that "should" fix problem. I said shouldn't you come out and troubleshoot the problem to make sure. They said this board should fix it. Board costs $550. When asked if they were so confident without physically looking at the generator would they guarantee this will fix it, he said no, it should fix it. So they want me to gamble $550? no. Generac said to call another company, they always teach the techs to physically troubleshoot before anything.

Responded very quickly (same day) came over reviewed job and work area, we discussed my thoughts on how I wanted things to be done. Offered some good ideas and we came to an agreement without being upsold and incorparted their good ideas I hadn't thought of. I'm an electrical engineer who has done construction supervision. They had a very quick turnaround for price quote. No fee for quote as they knew I was serious about installation. I purchased a portable generator and had an interlock installed in my electric panel and the outlet mounted installed on the outside of the house. Got all proper permits and inspections quickly and approved with no problems. Very quick and clean installation. They didn't mind my inspections during work (nothing to hide). Pricing was very competitive and the best around. Great Deal. Now I actually can't wait for a storm and power outage.

Excellent Service!!

Rarely do I write reviews, but Mr. Newman and his company deserve this one. They installed a 36 kw Generac stand by generator at my home and it is flawless. They were always on time and Mr. Newman was always available to answer the many questions I had in the process. I called several other companies listed as dealers and they weren't interested in helping me nor were they interested in negotiation of the price for the job. After the install there was an issue in regards to a defective battery (no fault of R K Newman) and he was at my house at 7:30 am the next day to resolve it. His guys were always respectful and courteous throughout the entire process and everything was done a lot sooner than I expected. I couldn't be happier with the generator and the service provided by R K Newman.

I'am very pleased with the installation of my 27 killowatt Generac generator. The crew at Newman Electric arrived when they said they would and completed the job without a problem. Mr. Newman gave me a fair price on the generator and the installation. I will call them again in the future for any electrical needs.

Professional Service

I had my old generator replaced. It took a while for the replacement generator to arrive, but I was informed at regular intervals about what was happening. The installation was done correctly and quickly, and the work passed all county inspections. The technicians were knowlegeable and friendly.
