I'm pleased to say that the purchase and installation of my generator was easy and painless with Renk Electric. They responded quickly to my first inquiry, the owner (Joe) gave me an on-site preview of the job details, plus a written detailed estimate, and an honest date for installation, which was six weeks out, but turned out to be reliable. The two installers were very courteous, competent, and neat. At the completion of the job, the township inspector stated that it was a professionally-done installation. Lastly, the owner came to give me a quick review of the generator's features.

Team was knowledgeable and friendly! We had a little trouble getting scheduled but once we did it was quick and efficient. Everything taken care of for the township and the install went off without a problem. Had an outage a few days later and we didnt even know it. The generator kicked right on, ran without a problem and shut off when the power was restored!

Renk Electric installed a 20Kw Generac generator for us in late fall 2013. The installation was great: they hand-dug the trench for the lines so as to avoid damaging our irrigation pipes. Tonight we had a power outage and the generator kicked in on cue and then stopped when the power was restored. 100% satisfaction, we recommend strongly.

I am extremely impressed with my experience from beginning to end with RENK Electric Inc. They answered all my questions (which I had many) to my satisfaction. They scheduled a day with me and two of their customers to take me out to see and hear their 20KW & 22KW generators they had installed to assist me in making my decicision. That was very helpful. I decided to get the 20KW. I had to upgade my gas line from the street to the house from 1/2" to 1" and upgrade my gas meter from a 200 (#14) to a 425 (#20). That was handled by PECO/Henkels & McCoy and was done in one day and went very smooth. I did not want a propane tank that could run out during an emergency so I thought this upgrade was an excellent option. Now the generator can run indefinitely in the event of an emergency and I don't have to worry about running out of propane. Renk's crew was very professional, clean, and thorough. They even rebuilt my EP Henry wall I thought I was going to have to pay my hardscaping contractor to do. They used drop cloths and booties to keep the inside of my house clean! Renk Electric Inc. is also Generac Sales, Service, and Installers so this is one-stop shopping. So they can install, fix, repair anything that comes up and also perform your annual maintenance. Other companies only sell or install the units. I can go on and on. These guys are great! You will love them! My wife and I are extremely satisfied! It is nice to know we are now protected with an automatic standby generator when we get the next 100 year storm, which seems to be a few times a year now. Thanks Joe, Lynn, Jeff, Rob, and the guys!

Renk Electric did a great job in identifying what type of generator fit our needs given the number of outages that we are seeing these days in the news.
