Reliant Electric Works

When your husband dies

Reliant has been servicing my generator for almost 20 years, but my husband was mostlyy responsible for its care. After purchasing a new generator from a different company in 2023 because the quoted price was too high, we continued to have Life Safety DBA Reliant perform maintenance on it. My husband died in 2024, and I made sure to keep the maintenance work up to date since his death. When the generator started having issues in 2025, they never told me that the work could be covered by the warranty. After questioning this fact, when I called another company, they said it should have all been under warranty and that the motor was blown. Art, the manager at Reliant, said it was not installed in the right location, so the warranty was not valid. You may ask yourself why this wasn't mentioned in the last 20 years of servicing. That is the question I ask after paying them over $1000 for a generator that is less than 2 years old with a blown motor.

Great Dealer & Product!

We had a 18KW Standby Generator installed in 2023 and it has worked flawlessly through several blackouts. Reliant did a wonderful job on installation and their customer and maintenance support has been first rate. We are currently selling this home (having the generator was an important feature to our buyers) and we plan to have Reliant install the same type of generator at our new home.
