I recently bought a house with a pre-existing Generac unit and had no idea how it worked or what maintenance it required. The previous homeowner left information about a maintenance company, but when I looked them up, I found out they had gone out of business due to poor business practices. While searching for alternatives, I found several glowing reviews for Red's, and now I understand why. The owner came out for the initial service call, explained how my unit works, and didn't rush through any part of the process. He discovered that the previous company had installed the wrong spark plugs and hadn't changed the air filter during the last service. My unit had started to fault a couple of weeks ago, and I had no idea. Now, the unit is back up and running, and I've been educated on how it works and how to test it between maintenance visits. I'm really glad I found a company that specializes in their craft and builds trust with their customers. If you need generator maintenance or other services, go with Red's—you'll understand why I took the time to write this review.

I had an issue with my liquid cooling generator system and they sent the technician Desmond right away. The other company I've been with made me wait over 2 weeks to send somebody. Desmond was very thorough and caring. He resolved the issue on site. I am happy with the service and now I am staying with them for my regular maintenance.

Red did a thorough job servicing my generator and did it on time, at the cost he said it would be and was very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend him for all your generator needs. One of the rare guys that makes a promise and keeps it. When you find companies and people who do this they make your whole world easier.

Reds Fantastic Service!

We had our generator serviced today by Reds. Amazing customer service the owner Red came out himself as he does with every first time, customer was very thorough went over the repairs needed showed me the damaged parts needed. A new control board. Red went above and beyond, and made sure that the generator was functional cut the power in my home and also pointed out some future issues that he was looking to address with me regarding power surges. Very fair with pricing. Red Is now a new friend in my book and will be monitoring our generator 24/7. I opted into Reds monitoring service! I strongly urge you to call Red’s as he worked for some of the other larger companies that are listed on the Generac website and he pointed out how he stands out from the rest of the competitors. Red was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, and on time!

Warranty service

Warranty service done by a professional. I had my stand by Generator fail with in the first few months of being installed. I called Red's service and they came quickly. Red came out and took care of ordering the replacement motor on site, he explained the process thoroughly. When the motor arrived he installed in bad weather. I will have Red's generator do all the maintenance service going forward. Red is very knowledgeable and has years of experience in the generator industry. I now know I am good hands going forward with any mechanical issues with my investment.

Red's Generator service came quickly and helped correct and start the warranty process. Regretfully my new back up generator failed within a few months of use. Red explained the process on how to get the engine replaced and he had me back up and running in a few weeks. Meeting Red and knowing that a trustworthy repair company is in the immediate area is a big relief. He also went over best practices with a Stand by generator. Very knowledgeable and will have him handle the future maintenance service. Very professional business from calling in the a failure to meeting Red the service Technician.
