Proficient Electric

Great solution!

So grateful for the work Todd provided in both consulting and advising on home power backup. Todd was extremely detailed in walking me through the options in setting up a home backup generator. I alway felt that he wanted to provide me with the best solution for my home needs as opposed to “selling” a product, I could not be more pleased with the work Proficient did in recommending and implementing the solution for our back up power needs. Would give more than 5-stars if allowed!

Incredible service!

We have been in our house over 5 years and unfortunately lose power with Eversource quite frequently. We almost never have issues with the generator but the two times it has failed to kick in, Todd from Darien Generator/Proficient Electric has responded within minutes BEFORE 6am and been on site within the hour. One time he had to walk on foot down our street because of a fallen tree. Both times he had us up and running quickly. Can't recommend this company enough!

Saved the Day!!

Todd from Proficient electric was such an amazing help. For starters he had a generator for our home when we were told we would have to wait for a year. Then after the expert installation and unfortunately timely zoning process from the town (not Todd’s fault) we finally had the gas company allowed to come hook up the generator to our propane tank. As luck would have it on Friday at 500 the power went out and I called Todd and he came to our house in minutes. I would recommend him and his company to anybody without any hesitation. Thanks Todd!

Highly Recommend Proficient Electric

I have been working with Proficient Electric for almost 10 years and only have positive feedback. Todd prides himself on customer service, and this has come through on many occasions. They are responsive, timely, and communicative. Highly recommend Proficient Electric

HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROFICIENT ELECTRIC AND DARIEN GENERATORS

We highly recommend using Proficient. From our initial meeting, to proposal, to installation..everything was seamless and done quickly. In addition, Proficient helped us with coordinating the purchase and delivery of the propane tank, the excavation for it's placement and getting the necessary permits. Todd runs a "one stop shop" and is fantastic to work with.

Todd is great!!

Great service and pricing, work was very clean aand professional

Professional and Knowledgeable

Todd was great. Helped us through the entire process of selecting and ordering our whole house generator, permitting, choosing a propane supplier, and installation of the generator and tank. He kept us up to date on scheduling. Very responsive to questions. Made the process easy.

The Best

Todd and his team are great. From the installation to responding to error issues on the new generator requiring a firmware and ecm unit. Dependable and here same day or next at the latest. Highly recommended.

Professional, Responsive, Experts

If you are looking for a company with a no nonsense, get it done approach , who know what they are doing, this is the company you want to install your generator. Todd and his team came to install the wiring and the switches within a couple of days of signing the contract, and installed the generator the day after it was delivered from the manufacturer. I’m happy with the end results .
