Precision Electric, Inc.

bad service provider

I had charger warnings on my two‑year‑old generator, and Precision incorrectly diagnosed the issue as a bad control panel. They replaced it part under warranty (paid for labor), but the problem remained—and they stopped responding once I paid their invoice. Another service company quickly found the real issue: a loose wire on the transfer switch. Based on this experience, I don’t believe Precision knows this product well. It’s hard to understand how they’re a recommended dealer when the focus seems to be on charging for installation rather than properly servicing the equipment. Generac really needs to do a better job vetting service providers if customers are required to use them to maintain the warranty.

Knowledge knowledge knowledge

Its hard to believe that generator sales people come to your house have no idea what the heck they are selling or how it works nevermind the options. Precision Electric Inc knows the Generac line of generators better than any of the other four dealers that came to our home and tried to sell my family a generator. They were armed with more information than any other Generac dealer. It was obvious to us that there business is generators! Now we are using them for our three medical offices. Jack, Tom and Brian thank you for your great service. J.M.
