POWERS GENERATOR SERVICE, LLC

I had used Powers in the past after another service tech proved to know nothing servicing our generator. I had found them very good, showed up when they said they would and knew what they were doing. Since then, we had a problem back in December that they fixed. Taped up a spark plug boot. However, the next day the same thing happened. I left a message with their answering service and never heard back. Called again and never heard back. Luckily I was able to reset the Generator and it started working again. The problem happened again about a month later and upon calling them they pretty much indicated that since there were so many hours on the generator they didn't want to come back out and try to solve the issue. Are they in business to service only new generators? Wow, what a disappointment. I asked for a quote to actually replace the boot. Maybe I'll get it. Also be aware they not only charge a regular on site labor fee, but also a travel labor fee and a trip charge, which the last two seem a bit redundant, but that's their policy. Nice guys but I lost my confidence in them.

Have had Powers servicing my Generac for last few years, and each time they schedule appointments, they end up rescheduling them, and then call on day of appointment to cancel as tech had "family emergency" and want to reschedule - this has happened on more than one occasion and can't keep taking days off work for their convenience. Terrible customer service, overpriced and not helpful. BBB complaint filed.

I had an awful experience with other dealers until I called powers There friendly knowledge able staff was very responsive and fixed my issue NO ONE TOUCHES MY GENERATOR BESIDES POWERS !

My electrician and myself were trying to get help for a warranty issue and they never called back even after multiple messages.

I did not purchase the generator from Powers, and neededa warranty issue resolved. Generac listed them as a service dealer, which they are BUT if you didnt purchase from them"their priority is their existing customers"wait was 1-2 weeks.
