Bob, from POP'S came out in a timely manner to give us an estimate & explain the operation of the generator. He informed us that he would service and help us to maintain the generator. His crew came as scheduled and did the installation in a very professional manner. Everyone at POP'S has kept us informed and were friendly during all phases of the process.

We had our 11K whole house Generac installed almost 2 years ago. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Bob is just the best. He obviously loves what he does and he takes the time to explain everything. And he's just so darn nice and friendly! He puts you at ease right away. His 2 electricians, Kevin and Chris, are the best. Completely professional and devoted to doing a GREAT job. When my township electrical inspector opened up the box outside for inspection, he said, "Wow. Who did this? They did a beautiful job". When is the last time you heard of an inspector exclaiming what a great job a contractor did?

After researching and getting estimates from several contractors, I hired Pop's Electric to install my 11 kW Generac Standby Generator. The owner Bob is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He felt like a friend to me after speaking with him for a bit. He and his crew worked tirelessly into the evening, even after it started to rain ro get the job done. They had to dig a lengthy trench to lay the gas feed and encountered some tough digging. The owner was onsight and involved for most of the job. The main electrician was also very friendly and I could see he certainly knew his way around all of the main electrical and transfer switch panels, explaining things as he worked. The owner Bob came back a 2nd day to complete some wiring after final township inspections and activated my generator, proving me with training on how it works on the day before Thanksgiving last year, about 6 months ago. I am able to write this review because of the good work Pop's Electric did because street power went out about an hour ago and I am sitting here watching cable TV with all the comforts of a fully-powered home. Thanks Bob! Pop's is also a qualified Generac service contractor so should I encounter any problems down the road, who better to call than the installer? I highly recommend Pop's Electric!

We've been wanting to get a generator for a while, but didn't quite know which dealer to use until we read all the great reviews of POPS Electric. And they were RIGHT!!!!

I had a 20KW Generator installed, and from start to finish it was a very positive experience.Bob is one of the most knowledgeable and professional contractors that I ever had the pleasure of working with. I never realized how many items were needed to be performed to properly install a whole house generator, but Bob and his crew made it look easy. From the permits, to the installation of the 6" concrete base, the plumbing required and the actual rewiring from the electric meter to the transfer box to the service panel, everything went like clockwork. Bob also took the time to demonstrate the operation of the generator and answer the many questions that I had.I need additional electrical upgrades at my home, and Pops Electric WILL be the only company that I call.

Bob L. at Pop's electric did our installation of a 20kw system. His crew did an OUTSTANDING job of dealing with the township for permits, setting up the plumbing installation, and the install of the system. After it was in, he came back and took the time to show me the ins and outs of doing the maintenance, and how the system works. He also gave me his cell number so I can text him with any issues that may come up. All that and he was the cheapest estimate I had out of 5 other contractors! A true professional. Dont even bother going to others!

I chose Pop's because of the previous reviews, and was not disappointed. Bob (or his crew) arrived when he said they would, were careful of my home (even taking off shoes to work inside) and responded immediately to e-mailed questions. All inspections were passed immediately.Overall, a top-notch experience, and I would hire Pop's again for any electrical work.

Hi, when we decided to get an in-line generator, we searched the web and got 4 names from a site 3 big companies and Pop's Electric, run by Bob. I invited all 4 to our home to give us their recommendations and Bob was last on the list (just scheduling issue). After talking to the first 3 (I liked them all & learned a lot), I called Bob at Pop's Electric thinking that there was no real need for him to come out. The other 3 had scared & convinced me that I needed a large company to "handle all the details" but because I'm self-employed, I wanted to give Bob a chance to respond to this concern.

Bob came out promptly to provide me with an estimate of the project to install a Generac Core Power natural gas generator. He took the time to explain all the features, permits and timeline. None of the other contractors did this and their estimates were higher. Pops Electric is everything you look for in a contractor: Knowledgeable, Easy to get a hold of, returns calls or emails quickly, kept to schedule, on time, honest, polite and great workmanship.
