After dealing with several other national companies and chains, my interaction with the entire Perkins team has been a refreshing change. They are honest and transparent and have been a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend you call them before you lock in with anyone else.

I found Perkins through a neighborhood post after a storm. I read their online reviews and decided to give them a call. They were slammed with appointments and were upfront about the timeframe from the initial meeting for a proposal all the way to install. Their sales staff was extremely knowledgeable, I immediately knew we were in good hands. The generator was installed when they projected. The installers were professional and courteous. This is an A+ company!

They showed up on time, told us exactly what they would be doing with electric and gas and where best to locate the generator. The installers did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this company. I have already referred our neighbor to them and they are scheduled for installation soon.

All the technicians installing the generator were extremely friendly and knowledgeable! They did a great job with the installation. The generator works great, we've had no outages so far but in testing it can power our entire house. We are thrilled! On the day of installation, at one point in the day, I counted SIX Perkins trucks in my driveway! Perkins definitely did a great job with the installation!

Everyone who came out from the person digging the power line ditch to the installers were professional and completed the job to our expectation.

I must have power for my life support equipment. The area where I live has frequent power outages - some lasting for days, for example in the aftermath of an ice storm. PERKINS is an outstanding company. The assessment process, recommendation, pricing, installation, setup and owner instruction all were very professional. They were very sensitive and responsive to my needs. I have peace of mind not only about my generator now but also is the future with Perkins maintaining it for me. My Generac is running as smoothly as a fine Swiss watch. Each week both Perkins and I get an email with a report telling me when the 'exercise' started and when it finished. This is further assurance the generator is fully operational and will be there if I need it. After getting an Engineering Degree from Duke I spent 40 + years in large motor and generator business, selling and installing that equipment.I was totally blown away with entire Perkins Team who sold me a 27 KW Unit. From moving to a difficult location to total installation the crew was outstanding in all phases.

The team at Perkins is GREAT! We recently purchased a generator from them and were in the middle of the install. We got hit with an unexpected snow storm this weekend and lost power. The Perkins team was at the house Saturday morning, even with questionable road conditions, to get the generator up and running.

Our initial purchase in 2005 was a 15 Kw Generac through a large hardware company who was using a Florida dealership for service and installation. We had problems that were never resolved by the first company. In early 2007 the first company went belly-up, and Perkins was brought in to clean up the mess. After they discovered a cracked block and arranged for a new engine, we went with their maintenance agreement. All has gone very well. Due to the cleaner power now required by our more modern and numerous electronic devices, we've just completed an upgrade to a new 22 Kw Generac unit, and it works perfectly. This time Perkins handled the purchase and installation, and it went as smoothly as we could expect. They stayed on top of everything including the required inspections. The competence of the Perkins staff, as well as their responsiveness and superb attitude has made us very satisfied customers.

Since my first communication with Perkins Generator Sales & Service I have been impressed with the professionalism at every level. When I expressed interest in their services and installation of a Generac I was delighted that the business owner was my contact who came to our home to access the project, a man highly skilled and knowledgeable of the products he sells and services. Unlike some previous 'sales' people whom I had spoken with, Mr. Perkins made it clear exactly what was recommended for our home and ultimately I have a product that I am sure will work as designed, and it came in under budget based on what I had previously been quoted. The job is complete, working as designed and I no longer will have to drag out a portable generator to keep our freezer and refrigerator functioning. When needed our air cooled 22k starts up with minimal delay and our lives continue!The Perkins technicians all displayed a high level of competence and did their very best to create an eye pleasing, fully functional system in record time. They are friendly and of greatest importance to me, they are well suited to the work they do. I highly recommend Perkins for anyone in need of a permanent auxiliary power unit.

We got a couple quotes on generators and Perkins was both the most comprehensive and best price. I felt they did the deepest analysis of our house, needs, and systems to give a full quote. They also were very honest in potential issues they might face with city permitting, etc. We had a blip with installation scheduling, but Perkins handled it the right way (at least for me - acknowledged the issue, took responsibility, apologized, and made it right). All the installers and walk-through teams were great to work with - I'd highly recommend Perkins.

I could not be happier with the service that was provided by Perkins Generator and Sales. They came to my house and reviewed my electrical system with me and discussed what I wanted to do with the generator. We decided to back-up half the house and I was promptly sent a proposal that was about 15% less than a far less experienced company. A 36KW Quietsource generator was installed quickly with no problems and they even took care of arrangements with the gas company to upgrade our gas meter. They have responded very quickly to all of my questions.If you want to have a generator installed then I highly advise that you call Perkins.
