Dishonest Sales

I purchased a hole home generator during April and had it installed. The installation was great and have no issues with that. Today I receive a portable generator that I didn't purchase. After calling Midwest I was told it should have come to them. I was asked if I needed it. I told them yah I could use it. I was very confused as to why I would get a generator for Midwest equipment. I called generac and ask if this was some kind of promo or a mistake. The customer service said it was a promo for the customer. This to me is fraud by a local dealer that was trying to get a free generator. I am sure I am not the only one that is going to be shocked by this kind of unprofessionalism. I was never told of any promo during the sales pitch or installation of the unit. Just furious over this practice of trying to get the customers promo products. I won't be dealing with them ever again.

I called Midwest Equipment to ask questions about a standby generator.Their salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Generac product. I scheduled an in home visit and he was very prompt. After assessing our needs, we were presented with a written quote. We scheduled the install while he was here. The Midwest Equipment installers were prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Just 8 days after the install, we lost our power during a 3 day rain fall.Our sump pump never failed. I was a hero in my wife's eyes!
