Use them if you have time to waste - Lengthy review worth a read

The onsite tech was always on time, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Its their office people the kill them. They do not return call when they say they will if they do at all. I have been dealing with then for over 6 months trying to get my generator fixed. First they couldn't find the file because my name was spelled wrong. Then I had to make 3 phone calls to find out how much the part would cost. Then they tell me they don't take credit cards over the phone and I have to mail them a check for the full price of the part BEFORE they will order it. Another 3 phone calls to learn they are having difficulty getting the part from the company and they can't track it to know if it is on the way or not. Once it finally arrived they would not schedule an install date unless they had additional work in the area. Turns out now that the part is in there is a need to order a second part. No fault of the tech. I think he is doing a top notch job. Again its the office staff that is killing this company and driving this poor review.

Do Not Use!

I had to wait over 3 weeks for an appointment to have service done on a generator. They called me the day before the appointment to tell me that their installer was over booked for the day and I would have to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment. I spoke to the owner Scott and he told me that they couldn't come when scheduled and that I can call another company.

Use caution. You may have better luck than I.

This company did not install the generator - it came with the house when I bought it. This company scheduled a service call no problem. They were on time and very pleasant. The tech was unable to repair the generator though as he had no parts with him. His regular truck with the parts broke down that morning. No problem, these things happen. He told me he found the issue and would submit the paperwork and the company would be in touch with me to let me know how much it would cost. I waited a month with no call. When I called them the secretary said the delay was because they had my name spelled wrong but to hang on a moment. When she came back she said she would have to call me back. She confirmed my number and that was the last I heard of them. I guess I will have to find someone else that is willing to take my money.

I am very happy with this company. They return phone calls and show up when they say they are going to and they do the work they say there going to do. We have had 2 other company's out here at our home and said that our generator was broken and could not be fixed and that it was going to cost about 6000.00 for a new one. Well New England Generator came out to our home and got our generator up and running for a little over $1500.00--now this is what I call a good COMPANY that CARES about there CUSTOMERS, NEW or EXISTING. GOOD job GUYS.

Great Experience w/New England Generator

I had a great experience with New England Generator. They installed my generator start to finish, and they come out and do yearly tune-ups for me. It was a complex install, my generator sat for a year before I could install it, and New England Generator made it hum. I could not be happier.
