Stellar experience overall

A whole-house genertor was on our bucket list....which became a priority after a direct hit of the 2019 tornado took out many of our trees, tore our electrical wires off the house and snapped the electrical pole in front of our house resulting in 36 hours of no power. As we live out-of-state hiring a contrctor was a concern since we would not necessarily around for the install. We first called the contractor who instlled our new HVAC and 2 mini-split units. They did a nice job. Then an internet search turned up Murphy Elecrical Construction and numerous positive reviews. Robert responded very quickly and came to give us an estimate. The other company needed prodding. I had to place 4 calls to get a response. We also wanted to have our electrical service buried at the same time. After we finally got the 2nd quote we made the easy decision on Murphy. We didn't decide on price alone, but on professionalism and responsivbeness. We were unable to be at the property partly due to the fact that my husband was laid up with a dislocated anlke and broken leg. As such a friend of ours worked with Robert as needed. Robert kept us up-to-date as the job progressed. We were able to come to the house after the job was complete. We were absolutely delighted at the wonderful installation. Not only was the generator installed beautifully, the yard and driveway (sealshell) which had to be trenched looked almost untouched. The ATS mounted on the house was neatly installed as was the conduit on the electric pole and gas meter. Since my husband and I do almost all home renovations ourselves we are rather particular and we were very impressed. We highly recommend Murphy Electrical Construction as he is a true professional in every way.

Total Confidence in Rob Murphy!

Its a genuine pleasure to provide a testimonial for this dealer! From beginning to end, the level of communication with Rob rose above any level we have ever experienced dealing with any home services professional. His work habits are "old-school" in the best possible way...painstaking... and he is incredibly well organized. Buying a natural gas generator is a big deal...you want someone you can trust and depend on. When you select Rob, you can immediately put your mind at ease.

Highly recommend!

Mr. Murphy's work to put in the generator was as good as it gets. He was always on time, let us know exactly what he was doing and what had to be done. He is kind and courteous and responsive to all questions. I recommend Mr. Murphy to all.

I highly recommend Murphy Electrical Construction

This was by far the most positive experience I have ever had with a local contractor. Rob is a true professional. He is extremely responsive. He takes his time in assessing the project and submitted a competitively priced and transparent quote. His work is top-notch. I couldn't be more satisfied!

Excellent

The company is excellent and the service is outstanding.

I would recommend Robert Murphy to ANYONE AND EVERYONE

After seeing my 86 year-old Mom suffer through the anxiety and discomfort of three different storm related power outages this past winter, enough was enough and I decided to have a generator installed. Because I am-- personally-- about as mechanically inclined as an oyster I telephoned a trusted friend and contractor here in Brewster, who told me he could recommend no one more highly than Robert Murphy. Mr. Murphy has been absolutely WONDERFUL. He provided detailed information about all aspects of the installation and the equipment; he took care of everything personally, and was prompt, friendly and extremely professional at all times. The financial arrangements were more than fair and he couldn't have been better in every respect.

Storm Mar 02, 2018

We purchased our home June 2017. The Generac was not working properly in Dec 2017, we called Mr. Murphy, he was out and fixed our Generac, Outstanding. Last night March 2, 2018 we had what appeared to be a Generac related issue. I called Mr. Murphy (at 5:45pm) he managed to get to our home negotiated a maze of trees wire and debris on the road etc. due to the storm. He made it to our home. Mr. Murphy tested the system, All was perfect. I might add my issue we me.

Ultimate professional!

Robert's knowledge and expertise is unsurpassed. Extremely professional and punctual. Truly and expert in his field. Would highly recommend.
