My generator had an error code and an oil leak so I called them to come evaluate it, they had the most reviews. Someone came out quickly and I was told I would hear something in a few days. A few days went by without follow up so I called them and was told I would hear something in a few more days but nothing. I called 3 times over the course of 3 weeks and couldn't get an answer. I finally called another dealer to come out because I couldn't get anything out of Mueller. The other dealer came out and discovered the generator was left in pieces and they couldn't do a full evaluation. Mueller finally called me back with a quote to repair the generator but didn't even address the oil leak. The next day I received their invoice for the visit. I would avoid Mueller and go with a different dealer. You want someone when wants your business.

After reaching out to Generac regarding a standby generator for my home, appointments were scheduled for two separate in home consultations, but after talking with Eric Porter from Mueller Electric I cancelled my second appointment. Eric was extremely thorough during the in home consultation and explained the entire process from start to finish. He reviewed my home requirements and provided me with several different options and the analysis needed to make an informed decision. He quickly inputted the information and provided me with a quote before he left. This company also provides discounts for veterans, which combined with Eric's knowledge and professionalism made Mueller Electric the company for my generator project. The next day I cancelled my second appointment and scheduled an install with Eric for the following week. The install went just as smooth as the in home consultation and Eric took the time to complete a walk through of the unit after installation. I was extremely impressed with the entire process and would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to add a standby generator for their home.

Professional and Knowledgeable

Eric and Michael from Mueller Electric in Ashland, KY did the installation of my Generac whole-home generator, and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. Michael came to my home and did the initial, detailed consultation with me, and I felt very confident about this purchase after talking with him. He was patient and very knowledgeable of the generator and he gave me a detailed proposal. He and Eric came and did the installation, and they worked hand-in-hand with one another. I felt that I was in excellent hands, and I felt confident that the installation was done right. Both of these guys were extremely competent and seem to know the answer right away to any and every question that I asked them. I have no doubt that when the next power outage happens that I am going to have back-up power, and that is worth its weight in gold!

Dealer very focused on installation technical details

The dealer was extraordinarily competent, so much so that it was hard for them to focus on simple things not related to the technical details. The installers were not unfriendly nor unsympathetic they were just so intent on getting the technical details correct that it was hard for them to register simple things like "use the doorbell to get me if you need something". The installers instead used text messaging - in an area where texting doesn't work - to get my attention and were surprised when I did not get the message.

Quality Work and Personal Too

the whole experience from the home consultation to install was better than expected. Was hesitant about letting ANY sales person in the house. Eric was very knowledgeable about the product and had suggested certain items for our home and garage. Was not pushy about anything. had an appointment set up for Monday morning and he showed up right on time! EVEN WITH 9" OF SNOW ON THE GROUND!!! very professional work and personal. Excellent customer service!

Could not have been better!

Extremely pleased. Workers arrived on time and worked in light rain without complaint. Very careful about tracking mud or dirt when they came into the house. They worked well together; I heard music and laughter. Very pleasant experience. They left at 3 p.m. At 9 p.m. that same evening, power went off in my neighborhood in Huntington. Generator came on in 5 seconds. 12 hours later I heard a click, and a few seconds later, generator went off! Thank you, Mueller Electric, and workers.

Outstanding dealer

This dealer is excellent and surpassed all my expectations! Eric was efficient, professional and personable! The men who came out we\u2019re efficient and did the installation well and efficiently. They even discovered a gas leak that was easy to fix but could\u2019ve been a big problem. Along with Mountaineer Gas the problem was quickly repaired.

Fantastic from start to finish!

Very pleased with every aspect of the installation of our Generac home standby generator. From the consultation to the installation and the follow up, Mueller Electric was one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with. Thank you Eric and your crew!

Didnt show up.

Scheduled for a servicing and they said they would be here at a certain date and time. I took off work and waited all day and they didn't show up or call. Called them later that day and they said they were behind on another job, I understand this, it happens. They said they would have a guy first thing the next day. Waited all day and nothing. No calls or no service. Just wish they would communicate better if they cannot make it when they say they will.

I am very pleased with the total experience.

From the first call with Eric to the completion of the installation I could not be happier. Once I explained to Eric what I was looking for he then asked clarification questions. He also answered all of my questions clearly. Our discussion brought us to a final system configuration and then to a quote which resulted in scheduling an installation date.
