Monyer Electric

Wow looks like all these are positive

Well here is a correct review that may change your mind concerning CLEAN ENERGY (Solar) and Monyer Electric From order date in 2020 to final install 4/22 - mistake after mistake. Terminated on 10/22 only to find more hidden mistakes. You see they designed a ground mount system where Inverter and Batteries are outside with the rack of panels. Today these batteries did not function. Called Generac and told that the batteries could not withstand temps below 40degrees. Instructions were given to installers (Monyer) sayin mean temps to be 40degree in Winter. We are in PA and winter is appproaching and temps falling - batteries will not easily recharge or operate. Review deserves more deeper explanations but they are not at all positive. We found a service company that is excellent but I cannot give his name here according to the rules but has an excellent attitude - very helpful. A referral was given to our relatives for a generator install, not solar, and it too was not properly installed. So make a decision - I did and am subject to a bad choice. Oh, set Monyer professes to be Christian...

Very professional company !

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Monyer Electric. From the salesman, Sean, to the girls in the office, Emmy and Brittany to name a few, to the 6- man crew that showed up to install our 22K whole house generator. Everyone was very helpful as we were walked through the process of purchasing to the day of installation. We had some issues on our end that delayed the final connection by 2 weeks( corroded meter pan and rotten wood due to a water leak). They were very patient with us until we had the wood replaced. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any electrical work

I'm impressed

Can't say enough good things about Monyer Electric, Everybody involved was great, Sales, front office and installers ...all made it a great experience and looking forward to years of great service.

Excellent Whole House Generator Installation

I would like to give my highest recommendation to Monyer Electric and David Pogue. We had a Generac whole house generator installed about one year ago, and it has been flawless. The peace of mind during the winter (and for storms the rest of the year as well) was just what we wanted. We interviewed several companies, and selected Monyer because of David. He has an honest, direct manner, impressive technical knowledge, and he provides the highest level of customer service. David promised that he would be personally responsible for every aspect of the installation, including taking ownership of working with the propane company. (David put us in touch with Ray Nester at Eastern Propane, who answered all of our questions and helped us to select a 1000-gallon underground owned tank as the best solution for us.) It was excellent to have one person who made sure everything happened as promised. David was there to make sure the installation was perfect. He answered every question we had for him right away. David says that if we need service or have any problems at all, he will respond, and I believe him. He asked us to wait a little while for an updated generator model, and it has been great—I can monitor the activity and status using an app on my phone. We really appreciate how David values us--he made sure we had the best possible experience at every step and we highly recommend him and Monyer Electric.

Excellent dealer!

Monyer Electric is, in my opinion, the go to Generac dealer for buying whole house generators. Fifteen years ago, I installed a Generac 16 KW whole house generator. When the time came to replace my old Generac generator, I did extensive research. This included talking to representatives, and reading reviews for various companies that installed Generac. Monyer Electric stood out among them for expertise, customer interaction and cost. Their bid was four thousand under another Generac dealer from my area. The total Monyer Electric organization is outstanding, from the office personnel, Dave who does the initial site visit to your home, and all the technicians that did the installation. The technicians uninstalled my old generator quickly and efficiently. They also hauled away my old Generac. I really appreciated that, because that unit weighs in at 480 pounds. I was present during the new generator installation, and all the technicians were technically excellent and professional. They answered all of my questions, they discussed the installation as the process moved forward. The discussed my specific requirements, and insured they were met. The installation looks fantastic. Coincidentally, we lost power 3 times the day after the generator was installed, and it worked seamlessly. I also plan to use Monyer for maintenance. Finally, all of the technicians were dog friendly. We have a very large dog that is well trained and friendly, but he can look intimidating. The technicians were friendly with our dog, and interacted well with him. I wholeheartedly recommend Monyer Electric for whole home electric generators.

A great experience

After several extended power outages during the past few years, my wife and I decided to purchase a portable generator large enough to run a few lights, the circulator fan on our gas fireplace and our refrigerator/freezer. We were almost ready to purchase a portable generator when we saw an advertisement on television for a promotion that Generac was running. Although I didn’t think I wanted to spend the money for a whole house generator, I decided to call Generac to see what my options might be with them. They scheduled a consultation with Nate Monyer, the owner of Monyer Electric. When Nate came to our house, he was very friendly and professional. He explained our various options but never tried to pressure us to buy any system or unduly influence our decision on what type of system to purchase. After considering the options, we decided to have Nate’s company install a whole house generator. The generator is now installed and my wife and I could not be happier with the whole experience. The professionalism and technical competence of Monyer’s technicians was far beyond our expectations. It seemed quite obvious to my wife and I that they’re number one goal was to make us satisfied customers, and they did!

Great service and people.
