Midwest Electric And Generator, LLC

Outstanding Customer Service and Excellent Installation

I am so impressed with Midwest Electric and Generator and their team. From the moment I called to ask questions, they treated me with respect and acknowledged exactly why our family needed a generator. The estimator was extremely knowledgeable and provided me an estimate while he was at our house. I felt extremely comfortable in my options. After signing, the office staff was friendly and just like the estimator, extremely knowledgeable. The installation went exactly as they told me and the technicians were great! They explained the generator to me and how to operate it. I would recommend this company to everyone! They will be there for you every step of the way. I even decided to have Midwest do the annual maintenance for the generator. Thank you, Midwest! You truly have our family peace of mind.

Great Service

We had a generator installed with Midwest Electric and Generator, Inc in October. From the initial consultation (via Zoom due to Covid) to the installation crew and the office. I can tell they are the experts. If you need a generator, these are the guys to hire. A++ Service!

Outrageous pricing/Gouging

I called for an estimate for general maintenance on my Generac 7 kw. I was looking for an oil change and valve adjustment and the quoted price was $995.00. Absolutely absurd pricing. Granted this repair outfit is Elk River,MN and there is travel time involved, but they expect to get full hourly rate for driving in the repair truck drinking coffee. CRAZY. BUYER BEWARE. Make sure you know what your getting for you $$$

This dealer should be avoided

Our experience with Midwest Electric and Generator left us in the cold when it came to following thru with promised parts and services. It was only after we spent a tremendous amount of money which they collected up front were we left with an incomplete job and missing parts. Midwest Electrics And Generator seems to be practicing a method of get the money and slam in the product. No follow thru on a full and complete install. I would never pay up front with this company. You will be disappointed too.

They Are The Generator Experts

First of all, I am so pleased with the overall install and the process to accomplish that. The engineer presented a concise and trust worthy proposal. The office staff kept me informed of the schedule. The day of the install, theInstallers were knowledgeable in their equipment and the job. They kept me informed of what they were doing. I was amazed at all wires and how they were able to work so quickly. They were considerate to keep the floors clean. Lastly they were thorough in checking each connection. When they left, I had no questions on what was done and had the assurance that I now had a generator that would keep me safe. Speaks well of the company and I would recommed them to other potential customers.

Excellent Service and Installation

We decided to install a standby generator this summer and had a couple of dealers out to do an estimate. We were very impressed with Midwest, from the text with the estimators picture on the way, to the entire presentation. The installation went great and the crew explained everything in detail. The State Electrical Inspector signed off on everything and said they did a very nice job. I am very happy and glad we used the generator experts at Midwest. Now when the power goes out, my Generac kicks in, and I no longer have to worry. Thank you Everyone for the great service!
