I purchased this Generac 3 1/2 years ago and have never had a problem with it until now. I called Generac to see who could come work on it warranty wise and they gave me a list of five people that could since the dealer I bought it from could install them, but couldn't work on them under warranty. I called 3 on the list and kept getting the run-around. Then I called these guys. Meadows Heating and Cooling. I guess the 4th call was the charm. These guys showed up not only on time, but actually early and had the unit up and going before they were actually supposed to be there. Not only that, this crew of two knew what the other one was doing and it seemed like they were conversing telepathically. Very intelligent with what they do. Their knowledge on Generac generators was unending. I know, I used to install them in during my 40 year profession as an electrician - although they were the older units - and when I started talking about the old verses the new ones, they knew both down to a tee. Just because the business name says "Heating and Cooling" don't be fooled. They obviously do more than that and I can attest they are tip-top on the generator side. I now have no doubts that they are just as good HVAC wise. I think I may have found me a one-stop shop. I'd give these peeps 10 stars if it was possible.

Meadows Heating and Cooling LLC (MHC) and Charlie and his team are the best. We bought our Generac over a year ago. When we bought our home we came to learn power outages here were frequent. No more of those problems since Charlie sold us, installed and services our Generac. Charlie knows his product inside and out. He is courteous, thoughtful and it’s easy to work with him. He has great communication skills. And any necessary service has been a breeze. Who could hope for more? We love our Generac and are so pleased we chose Charlie to be our Generac go to guy!

Replaced previously owned generator that was 20+- years old & "gave up the ghost". It's early, but initially seems to be fine. Had one power outage since installation & it did exactly what it's supposed to do.

The best contractor you can ever have...

Charlie Meadows was exemplary in handling the organization and installation of my gas tank and generator. In fact, I didn't have to do anything besides counting on him which was exceptionally surprising, as he took over all responsibilities. He is one of the very few contractors who comes when they promise, they handle the work when promised and even arranges with co-contractors (electricity and gas) to be there when needed. With his excellent communication, Charlie went beyond duty and I am utterly happy with the job he did. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. An installation of a generator doesn't need to be a problem if you contact Charlie. Thank you Charlie, you took a big load off my shoulders!

Easy to

Our 20 year old 8k standby was leaking oil and we decided to replace it. If you didn't know, 24k generators are in short supply! I didn't want to wait until 2022, but was lucky to locate a 24k unit which I purchased from a dealer who didn't offer installation/maintenance on residential units. I found Meadows on the Generac website and when I called, Charlie (the owner) answered the phone. He was willing to install my generator (purchased elsewhere), visited and then emailed an estimate. He also pointed out a few grounding issues we needed to correct in our distribution box. I had some questions pre-installation and each time I called, Charlie picked up the phone and had the answers. Today, he and his son Chris came and did our installation. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and glad to answer the numerous questions I had throughout the day. The installation is great - these guys are customer-focused and take pride in their work. It's always nice to work with a local family business.

When I first learned about Generac, I left a note on the website asking for someone to get in touch with me, but no one did. Then I decided that was a good thing, because some installers have bad reputations. Based on previous reviews, I chose to contact Meadows Heating and Cooling. The Generac hasn't been used yet. But Charlie Meadows and all of his team are the nicest people imaginable. They are prompt, efficient, careful with being clean and doing things right. They don't do a hard sales job, but do make clear recommendations. And they service the Generac - they keep track of that, so I don't have to. I view the Generac as a good insurance policy. I am delighted that I chose Meadows Heating and Cooling as the vendor and installer and maintenance provider.

Awesome company

Responded fast to our request and took the time to explain the product. Installed Generac 22k unit on schedule. Looks great very professional job. Cleaned up after install. Staff is very friendly and answered every question. Great people. Great service.

Excellent service on Guardian 9

Charlie and Chris did an excellent job installing my Guardian 9 generator. Clear and friendly communication, professional knowledge, and attention to detail made this a great purchase/installation.
