From the first call to the finished project, (this took about 14 days ) Magic Electric was way above and beyond my expectations.Jordan and his team were fantastic, quick and professional.I reached out to them a number of times during my decision period and they answered every question without hesitation. I was invited to their shop and given a tour. I was replacing a 20 year old Generac 15KW and was very pleased to find Magic Electric to quote and finally chosen by me to perform the sale and install of my 24KW generator at my houseOn install day the 4 man crew arrived as scheduled and within 6 hours the install was completed. Very friendly crew and respectful of my house and property.My old Generac served me through 4 hurricanes( out of power for 10+ days each and numerous power outages during thunderstorms. I would not be without a standby generator and Generac has served me well.Needless to say I highly recommend Magic Electric and Generac for your temporary power needs. 5 Stars!!!!!!!!

Hard to Reach

The initial install was good except they couldn't get the wifi connection set up. Tried to get them to follow up. I called numerous times with no response. They sent a bill the following year to do the install; wouldn't do it until they were paid. I did send a check and never saw them. I called (mind you it takes several calls to reach them) and they swore they came but I have dogs that would never allow anyone in the yard without me knowing. Second year was a hurricane (generator ran for a week) so I called for maintenance and the phone just rang off the hook - and I waited a week to call them. I contacted someone else and they came right away.

Super Service

Although it took a while to get the actual unit, the quote and install process was stellar. Crew even came out next day to make sure WiFi features were running. Very professional and friendly staff.

Unresponsive

Followed up on a Generac offer and theirrecommendation to call this dealer.No response to phone calls or e-mails. Didn't show up for an appointment. Moving on to another dealer for support.

Just the best. Anyone can sell but service is key

I had an issue in the middle of the night due to a previous lightening strike so the generator was running but the transfer switch was not. They came out in the pitch black downpour when the entire city was without power and got us running. Can not speak highly enough of this group. Anyone can sell you a generator but you are investing for the long term and keeping it operational and being able to use when needed is key

Could not be more pleased!

Richard McCarron, the owner of Magic Electric, was recommended to me by a friend in my subdivision. He has done several installations here and everyone was extremely pleased with the entire process. He came exactly when he said he would to do the inspection and the estimate and had it to me in a couple days. Chad and Jordan were the installers and were very knowledgeable and professional. Anthony took care of our WiFi setup. The first test exercise was just performed and everything went smoothly. We could not be more pleased.

Your best place to purchase a generator

Magic Electric needs to be the only company you should buy a standby generator because they are the best in St. Tammany parish. Richard is very informative and takes his time to explain the tiny details, and he is very thorough. When I received my generator (3 weeks early), Richard sent out a very professional and knowledgeable Team (Chad and Jordan) to install the unit at my house. It took Chad and Jordan about 3.5 hours to completely install the unit. When you buy from Magic Electric, you feel like you are part of their family. Their service is an A+ rating, in my opinion.

The process was simple and easy to deal with

I am a contractor , and have put in several generators on houses that i have built, including the one on my personal house just recently, the professionalism and prompt attention was very much appreciated, The installers Chad and Jordan were very knowledgable, and easy to work with and the whole process took very little time , from removing my old generator to the installation of the new one,
