Everyone at Long Electric, from their office staff to their installers, were very knowledgable of all their products. Install was quick and flawless. Top quality work. No mess was left behind. We updated our 15K, partial house generator to a 24K whole house generator in July 2022. The estimate was very reasonable, Contract was signed in June and within 30 days the new unit was installed. The entire crew was on time, efficient and were done with minimal interruption to our service. They even accommodated our request to maintain power to our fish tank during the process . Great job !!

Melissa stayed on top of the whole process which went very smoothly. In fact the day after our final inspection we lost power and the generator kicked in as it should have.

Solid work at a fair price from Long Electric

We went with Jason and the team at Long Electric for our whole house generator because they provided a responsive, total solution for our needs, which included installation of a buried 500-gallon propane tank...the other vendors we met with referred us to other propane providers and we didn't want to break the work up and have to be the integrator of multiple services. The installation team worked efficiently to get the tank installed, the generator set, and the electrical work completed. Fairfax County inspectors notwithstanding, the installation and testing went very well and I am extremely pleased with the end result. If you're considering purchasing a whole house generator, I would recommend you talk with Jason and Melissa at Long Electric!

The team at Long Electric did a great job start to finish. They quoted a reasonable price for a generator & propane tank installation. Once the generator arrived and work on site began, they were always neat about their work and had things cleaned up at the end of the day. These guys great to work with!

We hired Long to install a home generator and they were tremendous-- highly professional, helpful, and courteous. We had problems with the gas company and Long took the lead in finding a solution.

Installed 22 kw generator

I didn't realize how much work would be involved to install a standby generator. Long Electric did a fantastic job from start to finish, and the high quality of work is obvious. They also installed a new circuit breaker panel. Could not be happier with the work and the reasonable cost.
