John Starz Electric INC

Great to work with

We are a general contractor and were working on a project for a homeowner that required a generator. We hired John Star Electric to install the generator and were very pleased with the work they did. We have other opportunities coming up and will work with John Star again for electrical and generator work. We highly recommend them.

Reliable B/U Power Source

Had been planning for two years to purchase this generator, and finally did earlier this year. Having been without power for several days at a time after severe weather, it gives us peace of mind knowing we will have power during and after the next big storm.

We had our unit installed a few months ago and have actually had occasion to use it, although not due to bad weather, and it worked just as advertised. The installation went smoothly, and the team was great to work with. It has provided great peace of mind for us.

Outstanding Performance

Excellent service and excellent installation are the main reasons we went with Starnz! Professional service is a must for something like this for a home.

Great service

Would recommend to friends & family. Great service and responsiveness.

Best ever!

I was a little apprehensive when I was contacted by John Starz Electric for my generator install as I had not heard of them. But my apprehension was quickly eliminated as the install progressed. They were very professional in every aspect. From the friendliness of the staff, to the knowledge they displayed. They coordinated everything with the gas company and county inspector and the install was seamless. I have since had reason to contact them for information and they responded promptly. The service is outstanding!!! John Starz has my full confidence and my hearty recommendation.

PIiece of Cake

After a couple years looking into a standby generator, I reached out to my propane provider first...Great Gas in Jacksonville NC. He said he would handle the details. I asked who would deal with the electrical end. When he told me his choice was John Starz Electric, it was a done deal on my part. John's team has done work in the area, and I was familiar with them. Once we signed off on the deal, it took very little time until we had the entire house covered. Let me explain a little more. In 2018, Hurricane Florence shut down the power grid for several days. I had three freezers with a lot of meats and seafood. I lost everything. Rough estimate...$3000. Move forward to today. I have a broadcast radio (not a podcast, this is real radio...AM/FM) studio on my property. I host a 2 hour live talk show every weekday. I cannot afford to be without power any day. The 24 KW Generac I chose will handle the entire house plus my studio. It's a comfort factor, knowing that I can be self contained, under virtually any situation.

The dealer was outstanding.

My experience with the installer was great. They arrivedon time, and went right to work. They work as a unit. The generator was connected without any problem. I would reccommend them to my friends.

Amazing Service!

Chris was incredibly helpful and professional during the installation. Ethan made the entire process from start to finish incredibly smooth. I am so thankful to finally have a generator especially with the unpredictable weather in North Carolina!

Very satisfied

The price for install was exactly what I expected. Install went great and fast. Employees were very professional and courteous.
