Jm Electrical Contracting LLC

terrible customer service

Negative stars if possible. No service- all salesman. Paints a great picture but doesn’t follow through. Doesn’t answer calls or texts. And shows up when he wants unannounced to service generator after months of no show. Do you your research, does not have a good reputation, that I later found out.

I recommend Josh Mistler!

Josh Mistler from JM Electrical Contracting came highly recommended to me by a very satisfied customer. I contacted Josh and two other companies for quotes. Josh came in with the lowest quote even for a larger generator than the others quoted me. Josh had the generator in stock which saved me 2-4 weeks just for delivery of the unit. Josh was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, reliable, on time and just a really great guy! He kept me informed at every step! I would highly recommend Josh and JM Electrical Contracting!!!! Give him a call and you’ll see for yourself from the very first phone call!

Zero stars

Initial installation of Generac system (November 2022) went well. Having an issue with outside electric box which causes Generac to not connect. . Doesn't answer phone calls, texts, emails until days later. Could not give us a date to fix. One star is too much.

Does not respond

Does not return my call for service. Very frustrating.

Excellent knowledgeable company

Josh and Dave were have been great to work with! We had an issue a few weeks after installation and Josh was able to find oil leak and replace part. For the last 3 years we have had JM service and maintain our generator. They are always friendly and respond very quickly to any questions we have! We will use them again in the future when we purchase a new house

Just for installation, no service

Don't be fooled by the quick response when wanting to buy a generator, the sale and install went great, but the promised service won't happen. Won't return calls, looking for another provider for maintenance. I too wanted to help local company, well see how that worked out........

No customer service

My brand new generac won't start. Dealer doesn't respond

Needs to learn customer service after the sale

We chose JM because they were a local small business. We expressed that we would have many questions in the future and expected that our calls would be returned. The first 6 months were great. After that we left messages and calls were not returned. The last time, after leaving 1 -2 messages per day, after a week we finally received an email. The email came too late as we found another dealer to work with. It shouldn't take 3 months to set up a maintenance service call. Our new service person responded in 24 hours and set up the service appointment for 5 days later.

will hire again

Josh great guy understood my problem. He came and repair the mistakes from the first contractor that I had. Got my system up to code which hadn't been done by prior contractor. Again great guy great workmanship!!
