The entire process of getting my new generator speced out, installed and functioning by JDBelcher was very professional and of high quality. Everyone from the sales person, installers and scheduler were exceptionally easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Despite the unusually cold and blustery day the installers were able to get everything in place and functioning in one day.

These folks responded quickly to my request for a quote and the final price was the same as the quote. The installed the generator on time and explained everything thoroughly. The install went well and the installers were fantastic.

The crew of Drew and Elliott arrived just a few minutes past the scheduled start time, which was understandable considering they had to drive from Lacon to Delavan. Ameren was there as planned to disconnect the power and work began quickly. No time was wasted in preparing for Ameren to re-connect the power and to minimize the heat loss in the house on the cold day. The two worked efficiently and kept us informed of their progress. They cleaned up at the end and discussed the operation of the generator. Very professional folks!

JD Belcher installed the generator on October 1. They arrived at the scheduled time; the installer was very nice, knowledgeable, and took time to answer my questions. The entire process--estimate, ordering, installation--by JD Belcher was of the highest professionalism. This morning (Oct 5) at about 8:35 we had an interruption to our electric service. The generator kicked in less than 30 seconds later. The outage was short-lived, but the feeling of security is WOW! I am ready for just about anything our Midwest weather throws at me.

We were very impressed with the thorough assessment of what services we needed and with the presentation of options. We had a complete understanding of the proposal and the process for installation. As the installation time table was progressing, we were kept updated on what was happening. The office staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a very satisfactory purchase and installation process.

Family and I were very happy with the installation and quote price. They installed it and explained what to expect and what to look out for if any thing goes wrong. We setup the weekly test and have to wait for the wifi chip from generac which is on backorder. Hope it comes in soon.

We have been wanting a generator for a couple years and after the derecho that hit our town and knocked out power in some areas for a week we decided to look into getting a generator. I had seen a JD Belcher ad but wasn't sure who to actually get then my boss told me that she had used JD Belcher as well as a co-worker of my husband used them and that cinched it for us. So far since they have installed the Generac generator we have not had to use it but the peace of mind that we will be ok if the power goes out makes us less worried when bad weather is approaching. Being seniors we now have one less thing to worry about in life. I highly recommend JD Belcher. They are fast and efficient.

The two gentlemen were courteous and answered any questions that I had. It was a very cold day but they worked with speed and got their work done to the point that the electric & gas could be turned on so that we could have heat. Everything went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves.

JD Belcher came recommended to me from neighbors who had also used them (if not for installation, then for the ongoing maintenance). While their installation scheduled was backed up, (It took 3-4 months to install the Generac after ordering it) JD Belcher was very clear about the lead time required and didn't accept payment until the generator had been installed to my satisfaction. They walked me through the process on multiple occasions, scheduled the utility company to replace our natural gas meter, and were in regular contact with me at every stage of the installation. They called to verify install date/time beforehand, and arrived promptly when they said they would. The installation went very smooth (arrived at 8am, power shut off for <2 hours while they installed the transfer switch, finished and walking me through operation by 2pm). I was impressed at how fast and thoroughly they worked despite the snow/ice on the ground. I plan to use them for ongoing maintenance to make my keep my 22KW Generac running smoothly for years to come and will happily recommend them to anybody that asks.
