J. Fitzer Electrical Contracting, LLC

J Fitzer is awesome!

Jeremiah and Jessica are both terrific to work with! They were able to help us right away on an urgent call when our generator went out. We were so impressed that we now use them for our semi-annual maintenance. We have been impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism, and customer service. We would highly recommend them to anyone in the Nederland area!

Very Professional

Very Professional and knowledgeable. I was doing some of the installation my self but needed an expert to come in and finish up the job. I also purchased a maintenance service contract from him.

Don't look further! 5 STARS for J.Fitzer Electric.

GENERAC lost function in electrical storm from a brown/black out. Called J.Fitzer Electric mid day. Service man came after hours and a full day elsewhere. Jeremiah, service rep had to order part but other electric needs met that day. 5days later he returned on a weekend with parts. All done with great speed and great respect. Super Speedy Outcome!

Professional, honest staff

Before deciding to install a generator, I did my research on the internet. I checked prices. I did the calculations to see what size I needed. I looked into the available options. I asked neighbors which installer they used. I was all set. Then, these guys came in. We discussed things like where the generator should go and where it shouldn't go. They helped me decide what should be connected to it what didn't have to be. We talked about long term reliability. We talked about routine maintenance. Did you know that during a long term power outage, these things need to be shut down every few days for an oil change? I didn't. The installation was a bit of work. More than I imagined. They must have this down to a science though; there were no surprise charges, and when it was all finished, they spent an additional 2 hours with me discussing the various dos and don'ts, and making sure everything that should be powered by the generator was powered. They simulated a power outage and walked be through the (automatic) process so I knew what to expect during an actual outage. All in all, I can't recommend this company highly enough. While having one of these generators installed isn't exactly cheap, dealing with a company that actually has your best interests in mind is worth even more.
