Excellent Generator, Excellent Service!

I purchased a Generac 2000 through Bayberry Electric and had it installed in Spring 2012. Amici was recommended for maintenance by Bayberry Electric. Amici did the initial service, changing the oil and filter after the first eight hours of service, and set up weekly testing of the unit and monitoring for unit failure. My home lost power for seven full days during Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. I was out of town for most of this time and my generator ran continuously for about 175 hours. Ideally, I would have been home to notify Amici around day four of the power outage to add oil and give my generator a rest. Happily, the Generac 2000 continued working non-stop for the full seven days. Amici has scheduled my generator for high level service and to adjust the valves. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the Generac 2000 and with Amici's service.

Amici Power is great!

We hired Louis Gabriele from Amici Power to install our whole-house Generac generator this Spring. The installation was complex, involving oversight of sub-contractors for electric, landscaping, masonry, gas and more. Louis GC'd the project proactively so we didn't have to stay on top of them. Louis is also extremely easy to work with, responsive and understanding. It has been the best contractor experience we've had ever, and we love our generator - especially with storms getting worse in this area! We'd highly recommend Louis and Amici to anyone locally who wants a generator installed.

Very quick to respond

I made the mistake of having someone else service my Briggs and Stratton whole house generator one year...The generator wouldn't turn on, they told me it was going to need X, Y and Z....I called Amici and they told me it was a simple switch that needed to be turned on, and VOILA....my generator started working.... They really know these generators!!

Outstanding Service

I love the Generac product and have had great experience with Amici. Recently I had an issue with an 8 year old generator that was having gas flow issues. Lou and Mike were on top of everything. Worked with a plumber who was quite challenging. And have done a great job staying on top of the situation to get me back on line. If only every service provider could be as good as Amici. Highly recommend them.

Great experience

Amici Power was asked to step in by Generac with the installation of new upgraded generator by the Generac VP. We had a less than 5 yr old generator which failed to work after numerous part replacements and repair work done by another dealer. Amici Power came in with their team and Lou Gabriele oversaw the process. The difference in dealers was noticeable. Lou and his team knew their stuff. Installation was done quickly by a group of techs that were pleasant and professional. You can see that Lou takes pride in his work which is something rare these days. We expect to have a long professional relationship with Lou and Amici but don't expect to see him much except at service time. Once he does a job, it's done!

Excellent Service Very Much Appreciated!

Today, we lost power in Westport (again!) All technicians were on the road so the owner himself came out to help us. We are on a yearly service contract with Amici Power and were very impressed today that the owner himself came out to help us within one-half hour of our call! This reflects the type of service Amici provides. Any company can install a generator. It is the service that is most important, and Amici gets 5 stars all the way. Highly recommended. If you need a generator, look no further!

Honest & Reliable

My unit was reading "Stopped Under Voltage" - so I called Amici who got me on their schedule. Mike came within 24 hours and determined that it was the brushes - an item that was still under warranty. The problem was fixed within an hour. Amici is honest, reliable and very friendly - you can't go wrong here - I am very satisfied and will be using them for my maintenance.

Truly Outstanding!

I have been a customer since 2008 when we had a generator installed due to the ridiculous number of power outages we experience in CT. The best money we ever spent! Louis and his son Mike do a fabulous job. They not only do expert work but they are also truly dedicated to prompt, friendly customer service. They always return calls quickly and will show up if needed 24/7. It is a relief to know I can always count on them!

Very helpful dealer

I recently purchased a 14KW generator on-line. After installing it myself, I had an issue where the unit would not start up for the first time. I found out the unless your a authorized dealer, the tech support customer service line doesn't go much beyond reading me the manual. Other asking me about than the basics, Generac customer service rep. said I would need to contact a dealer to determine if the unit needed warranty service. The gentleman at Amici were quick to come and diagnose the problem and get the unit running. They were very friendly and professional about helping resolve the problem. In the end the generator had a faulty circuit board which they fixed under warranty. They called me back quickly and worked with me to find a convenient time to stop by and work on the unit.

Great dealer. My highest recommendation.

This has been one of the best experiences with a contractor I have ever had. He came to my house, explained our options and helped us coordinate the entire generator install- from the propane tank excavation to the electrician. Lou clearly pays attention to detail and is meticulous in his preparation. I would recommend him to my friends without hesitation especially after the horror stories I have heard from my neighbors who have used the two large generator companies in my area.
