HPS went out of their way to accommodate my difficult situation.... a failing existing generator and the need to leave town shortly. That situation overshadowed what otherwise would have been the standout aspects of this installation, the technical expertise and sterling level of customer service delivered by HPS. THANK YOU!

Great Experience

This was a great experience from beginning to end. From initial contact with dealer to installation and setup. Everything was as promised, on schedule. Friendly and knowledgeable installation team. Office personnel also available and knowledge for follow up questions.

Total Professionals

From estimates to installation, everyone was professional, friendly, fully-informing. A complicated job was done in ONE day, four workers. All prep work--permits, NGrid inspection, etc.--done well beforehand. Justin, Andrew, Tim and Wayne worked well. Rusty Mgr., was extremely helpful. A good product with extensive owner manuals. Just waiting for our first outage!

Great Experience

We had a great experience with Home Power Systems. Rusty gave us all the information that we needed when considering whether to buy a generator. Justin and Steve came to install the generator on probably the worst weather day of of the month (we had a spring snow storm that left 18 inches of snow). Yet, they were professional, knowledgeable, neat, and made sure everything was right before they left. They coordinated all the people who would be necessary to complete the job, and Rusty stopped in to make sure everything was going well. We would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Personality, expertise and professionalism

1/26 we had a Generac generator installed. The weather the previous week was below zero and we were concerned about how they would install, especially we were worried about being without electricity which would impact our heating and water systems. Justin, Andrew, Woody and Jay were fantastic. They approached their jobs w/ dedication, stopping to chat and explain what they were doing every step of the way. Our fears were quickly alleviated as they took the time to arrange a system where we\u2019d only be out of power no more than 10 minutes at a time. They thought it would take 5 hours and they were spot on. Overall this was a fantastic experience e and this foursome worked together like they\u2019d been doing it for years. Hats off to Generac for assembling a team like this! Thank you so much for helping us have electricty. At all times.

Outstanding Installation and Service

Home Power Systems was outstanding with the whole house generator installation they did for our home. Rusty was very informative and responsive with all our questions and concerns, both before and after the installation. Mark, Mike, Tim, and Steve, the installation team, were very professional, friendly, and helpful. They all went above and beyond my expectations, but especially Tim who stayed to wait for National Grid to reconnect our power when they were delayed in getting to our house. While unnecessary, it was highly appreciated. I highly recommend Home Power Systems!

Great experience!

My generator was installed in June 2021. I waited to write this review because I wanted to include comments about the company as well as the product.Beginning with my initial contact with HPS and continuing through the installation, everyone I spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions clearly and promptly. In addition, they were able to install the generator within about a month of my initial contact! Due to supply chain delays, other companies had indicated it would be a minimum of six months before they could get a generator for me. Thankfully, HPS had them on hand.Since then, I have needed to use the generator a number of times. Particularly when the power has been off for many hours, it has been wonderful to have lights, heat or a/c, a working refrigerator, etc. To date, the generator has worked flawlessly!I want to recognize Jeff D., Joe, and Tim for their their work during the installation. They were hard working, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a pleasure to work with them. I also want to acknowledge Shawn for the initial presentation about the company and the product. Although all of the names aren't included in this review, everyone from HPS I communicated with was great!

Great Work!!

Rusty and the crew (Mark, Tim, Steve, & Mike) were the ultimate professionals. They arrived on time and laid out the day's plan. Then they set down drop clothes in our home to keep our home clean. The crew got right to work and kept me informed throughout the process of the progress. By noon they were done!!! The installation exceeded my expectations. They kept all work sites clean, both inside and outside. Everything was checked and worked properly. One last thing, given our Covid situation, the crew wore masks whenever they were in our home per our request. I really appreciate that they respected our wishes!!! Get a back-up generator and go through Home Power Systems!!!!!!!
