Called several times to schedule a maintenance service on the Generac generator. Stopped trying after several unanswered messages were left. Frustrating!

Experienced and Knowledgeable Generator Tech

We have had our Generac for almost 20 years now and it runs perfectly with the annual maintenance that High Sierra Electric & Generators perform. Ed, the owner is extremely knowledgeable on our system and we are fortunate to have his services. There are so many so called Generator Techs with little or no experience I would not trust any one else.

Edison is always very responsive and highly safety conscious. He came to our home, assessed the options for us, and laid out a plan to ensure our home is never without power when we need it. The final written estimate was clear and simple (and lower than the initial verbal estimate). The work was delivered and installed as promised. Our 22kw Generac generator looks great and Edison and his team clearly showed my wife and I how to operate it. HSE works with many of our neighbors in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area which makes planning any regular maintenance calls convenient. If you need a generator, call HSE!

Called this dealer for information on maintenance on our generator. He was very helpful. Explained exactly what maintenance we needed and when. I will definitely call him when our maintenance is due

Does NOT respond to problems nor issues

Installed our Generac but we had to dig the propane line trench. Came with another man but his CSLB shows NO Workers Comp. The other day yet another power outage and when the generator came on there were popping noises throughout the house. Wife put in four (4) different calls to him on 10/29 and to date, 11/3 he has still NOT called back. Called another dealer (not allowed to mention name) who did a troubleshoot and determined HSE did NOT tighten down the large ground wire from the main panel to the generator switching panel. Used a 5/16 Allen wrench and made six turns indicating they forgot to tighten the ground lug. Since, the water recirculating pump fried along with the GFCI, the remote board in the outdoor ceiling fan and a big problem with the refrigerator including some popped GFCIs. Biggest problem is his failure to communicate even from the onset. Made a comment that he does not care about negative reviews as he has plenty of business. Would never recommend him...

So glad we have had High Sierra service our generator annually. It has kept our 18 year old generac running smoothly and dependable during these pge's outages. Thank you Ed for your quick and professional response and service.

Won't Honor A Factory Generac Extended Warranty.

I have a 10 year factory extended warranty on my 16KW Generac generator. I've only had the generator and warranty for 2 years. I attempted to have a repair done on it by this business. I was told when I called this business that I would have to pay for all repairs and then try to get reimbursed by Generac. This business states that they are an authorized Generac Service provider. They are suppose to handle all repairs and billing issues as spelled out in the Generac extended warranty.

High Sierra service my generator from the moment it was installed. The company that installed it did not service the generator.
