Great To Work With

Harris Comfort sold me a whole house generator and installed it. I thought the price was fair and they were all very nice, easy to speak with and knowledgeable. The installation team was not only really good at their work but very respectful of our home. They even cleaned the floor in my basement where they tracked in a little dirt. I had an issue with my gas company (Amerigas - stay away!). Harris really went out of their way to work around this issue which I appreciated.

Harris turning away new customers

Never had a company turn new business away before. Called Harris because they are listed on the Generac website as the top generator repair company in my area. I think my emergency generator's trickle charger needs repair and I called to get someone to troubleshoot it. The lady on the phone first tried to sell me one of two annual service appointments (oil changes). She sounded a lot like she was wearily reciting a memorized script. After she let me explain that I needed a repair, she told me they only serve their own customers and to call my propane provider (who does not repair generators). Glad to learn they are doing so well they don't want new customers.

Extremely rude phone operator

Contacted the company about emergency service on my generator.The operator was so rude, I decided to go somewhere else. I am surprised the company is throwing away business like this. Shame.

Installation went as planned, the crew was polite, informative and professional.

Level of customer service (and human kindness) was greatly appreciated.

The reason that we selected Harris to install our generator (we interviewed three other companies) was the knowledge that Tom Christie displayed regarding the product, process and expertise that the Harris team could provide us. Tom took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions and instilled confidence in him and the company he represented.
