Hall's Electric

Trusted, Future-Proof Set

Three years ago I trusted Mike and his team with a major whole-home reliability project — and I'm glad I did every single day since. The scope was significant: full Generac generator installation, a 1,000-gallon propane tank, transfer switch, and a 1-inch propane line run to the house. I didn't fully know what the right setup looked like going in — I just knew I needed someone I could trust. Mike knew exactly what to do and built it right the first time. That 1-inch line is a perfect example of his thinking. At the time I didn't realize why it mattered, but now I know my system can handle a tankless water heater, future appliances, or whatever upgrades come next — no bottlenecks, no limitations. That's the kind of foresight you don't find everywhere. Everything was done professionally, warranty was fully respected, and Mike has kept up with regular service in Amador County ever since. The system has been rock solid. If you're in Amador County and need propane or generator work done right — not just installed, but truly set up to last — call Mike. Best investment I've made in my property's reliability.

Great company

Great company, they were on time, professional, courteous, and did a great job, two days after they installed my Generac the power went out and came on fall asleep and power in the entire house, the price was fair. I’d highly recommend them.

Halls Electric was great!!

Mike @ Halls Electric was OUTSTANDING! Contacted them at the Amador County Fair and from that point they were 100%, knowledgeable, professional, prompt and efficient! I was quoted a reasonable price and they came in under the quote.

Efficient and easy to work with

From start to finish, this was a great company to work with. After initial contact, I was quickly provided with generator options and costs. A formal quote and drawing was next, and the job was scheduled according to my needs. The crew that came to do the installation were all knowledgeable to the task at hand, and professional both in appearance and performance. They made sure I was involved in the decision-making process with regard to routing of utilities and generator location and placement. The job was completed in one day, and the after job clean up was immaculate. I highly recommend Hall's Electric.

Great experience!

Hall's electric installed a whole house generator for us. Their office staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Shawn and Cory installed the unit. They were on time and happy to explain the process of installing our generator. Shawn and Cory got the job done ahead of schedule. Shawn, then, explained and demonstrated the workings of the generator. What a great experience. I highly recommend Hall's in Jackson for all your electrical needs.

What a relief to know we are in good hands

I was referred to Mike Hall by one of the PGE field workers ( a great referral!) and called to ask them to come see why my Generac was making a weird noise and running rough. The company that did the install and my prior annual service (a month earlier) refused to come back and see what the problem was. I called Mike Hall and they scheduled someone to come out the next week. It turned out that the Generac had a faulty part and they ordered the part and installed it under warranty. They did a fantastic job and Pam was always pleasant and patient in providing updates. I don't recommend many contractors these days but Mike Hall has earned my business and my trust. I know I'm in good hands. Highly Recommend you call them if you need electrical or Generac install or service.

Excellent dealer/install

Hall's electric very professional from start to finish. Very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge on installing generac generators and how quickly and professionally the work was done.

Best Electrician In Western Sierras!

Absolutely outstanding service from the most competent electrician I've encountered. Mike and crew sold and installed a Generac generator. I had first contacted a Jackson competitor who took months to finally initiate the installation. This competitor, upon arrival, did a bate and switch on me causing substantial increases in price and a change in the previously agreed upon installation location of the generator (a change that was 100% unacceptable). I said no! With snow soon to arrive, I had resigned myself into not receiving a generator until summer. I called Generac. They directed me to Hall's Electric. Pam answered the phone, and answered all questions. Mike and crew arrived with the Generac in a week. The installation was most incredibly timely, and absolutely stellar! And, the final cost was fair... a good deal less expensive than the Jackson competitor that failed me. I simply could not expect a more professional transaction than what I experienced at Mike and Pam's hands. By all means, contact Hall's Electric first. This is an outstanding, competent, and honest electrician, worthy of your business.
