My wife and I had a standby generator installed by Gulf Coast Generators. We wanted a turn-key installation without us having to subcontract or be involved in any of the work.

After finally making the decision to purchase a stand by generator at my home I acquired bids from several companies and Gulf Coast Generators had the best price. Gulf Coast was also very prompt on coming out and doing survey on what I needed to power my home and answered all my questions. Once the install date was set they were there as promised. The installers were very friendly and professional. The work looked really good when they were finished. Gulf coast took care of everything generator install with very nice pad, cut over switch, plumber to connect gas line and city inspections. Once all that was complete they did the final check out, programming and initial start up. I highly recommend this company!

I needed to replace an air cooled 13 kW Generac unit. Mr Burch took the time to size my replacement and explain in detail the improvements that had been made on the air cooled units. He gave me quotes on the 22 kW air and liquid cooled units. I picked the liquid cooled unit. The two installers showed up on the hottest day so far and worked without breaks to get the old one out ant the new one installed. They worked as if they were working on their own home. Everything was perfect and he took the time to train me on every part of the system. It's been a long time since I've seen this type of work performed so well and I can't thank all of the employees enough. I will recommend this company to anybody looking for a generator with quality work to back up the product.

We decided on a 32kw and knew it would be a considerable investment. We wanted to get this right. I met with several different dealers of various makes of generators. He explained the process to me and made me feel confident in his abilities. Upon exiting my attic he folded my ladder and eased it back into the ceiling. But, it didn't close completely. He picked up a broom nearby and pushed the door closed. At that time, I know he would pay attention to detail and he was the guy for my job. Needless to say I was not disappointed. All of my experiences with Gulf Coast Generator have been wonderful. I changed service to them after getting the runaround from the company I purchased and had install my home generator. We had a power outage that came on for a second then went back off fooling the automatic transfer switch so I called GCG. They had a technician call me back from his cell phone and walked me through the steps to check what was going in, then re-start my generator. They also offered to come out which I said was not necessary. Anyone that can save me the time of reading through a lengthy instruction manual gets a thumbs up in my book.
