Genx Generator

billed for warranty

We had a new Generac generator installed at our house and unit had a system fault out of the box. We used HP Electric because they are an authorized Generac servicer. The unit was defective out of the box (internal issue) and HP Electric did fix the issue, but they sent us a bill for service. This issue was is covered under the manufacture warranty, but HP electric billed us anyway. When I asked them directly, they said they did not want to do the paperwork for the warranty and I needed to pay them for their work. Poor business practices.

Very efficiently executed project

We went with GenX Generator on the recommendation of a friend/neighbor who also purchased through GenX Generator, as have several other housrholds in our neighborhood. What I like most is that they know the process thoroughly, from sizing our unit, obtaining permits, and installing. It gives us great confidence we will have a excellent relationship for service and maintenance. While we hope never to need it, having backup power is very comforting.

Good Experience - recommend

Highland Park Electric gave good info, installed as expected, & I will use them for annual maintenance, etc.

Dealer is great

Everyone that came for generator installation was great. Would highly recommend Genx Generator.

Completely Satisfied

GENX was prompt and professional. They did what they promised. Even the cleanup exceeded my expectations.

Thankful for the referral!

Two neighbors used this company and spoke highly of the whole process from beginning to end. From everything I was told, our installation received the same high level of service, care and responsiveness.

Great company

We hired GenX (of Highland Park Electric) in Highland Park to install our whole house generator. They did an excellent job: from coming out to see what needed to be done to recommending what would work best for our needs, to installing, and then servicing our generator. They were responsive to our questions and kept in contact with us throughout the process (scheduling the installation, changing the date of installation due to OUR needs, etc). I am more than pleased with their service, communication, and professionalism and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a generator installed at their home.

Professional installation but weak responsiveness on follow-up questions

Good equipment and very professional installation at reasonable price. Has not responded to emailed follow-up question on related electrical work, however.

Generator is outstandinf.
