Salesman John and installer were both very good and knowledgeable. The problem with Genforce is their receptionist and/or anyone returning a phone call. Even after a hefty deposit on a home stand-by generator the office is extremely tardy at being responsive, does not know and/or understand the customers needs and can be hostile sometimes toward the customer. BUT when they want to get paid they are right on target. Had to go many times through the salesman in order to get the job completed. This aint no $200 job. Lack of respect from in office personal about amount of money spent and customer service. There are plenty of contractors that can do the job. Seek a company that cares about their customers.

I used Genforce based on the very strong recommendation of a very happy customer. The Genforce crew for the entire electrical part of the installation were industrious, meticulous, and creative re problem solving and obviously very knowledgeable and proud about their work.The same goes for the plumber used.by Genforce. The efficient office coordinated all aspects of the required local inspections (except that I as homeowner had to make the initial pickup and payments for permits). And this was all for a price very fair to both sides. All in all, this was the smoothest, most pleasant, most satisfactory home improvement project in my 40 years in our house.I will add that the individual (not the owner or any of the installers) who did the initial survey was extremely tardy in delivering his estimates and had to be prodded. IF this happens to you, just don't make the mistake of assuming that this reflects on Genforce as a whole: you will be missing out on a great deal on all dimensions.

It has been 4 weeks today since he came to view the site in details.I have not heard from them since re: estimate.I called and left message 2 weeks ago, no response yet.

Genforce was completely professional and they handled all of the permitting. They did all of the work in-house, whereas other companies from which I received quotes only quoted part of the job and required that you contract with a third party plumber for the natural gas hookup.

I shopped for generators on the heels of Hurricane Sandy and after screening all the claims of many manufacturers, I settled on Generac. Their top rated dealer (Elite class) was Genforce and I made my purchase. It took 6 weeks because Generac was backed up with people in a panic, like myself...not the dealer's fault.The installation was timely once the machine was available, a clean professional job just as promised and the generator is up and running. Working with Genforce was a treat....They delivered all they promised.

A representative from Genforce visited my house almost 2 weeks ago. He spent a great deal of time evaluating and reviewing my house to determine the size and location of the generator. He asked many questions. I have yet to hear back from him, whereas I have received estimates from several other dealers. I have spoken to other representatives of Genforce who insisted that he would get back to me. I'm so happy that buisness is that good for Genforce (sarcastic)

Mark is efficient,reliable,straightforward and willing and able to answer all questions and concerns.He was able to install a standby generator in one day and takes care of all the necessary permits.I would not hesitate to call on him again should any electrical concerns arise.

Throughly professional from the initial estimate, to code compliance, permitting, scheduling, installation, and training. The installers arrived on time and completed the work in a day and a half. High quality work, left the premises clean and damage free, answered all questions, and did a great job of orientation and training on the unit after it was installed.All around very positive experience.

I got my generator installed in March 2012.I got call back within couple of hours and set up estimate with Jarek, the owner. Completed the job within 3 weeks. They even applied for permits for me so I did not have to deal with paperwork.

These guys were great. The unit was installed in one day and they even called to make sure it was running well after Hurricane Irene.
