Update 6/6/2026: After weeks of Costco having to intercede to get our job completed, we finally heard from a supervisor. He sent his men back out and they still only did part of the repairs and necessary items for inspection. We ended up having to pay to have more dirt brought out to fill in their tracks and take care of the remaining dirt they left from putting in the tank. Each time, they said they would be back, but never returned. As always, Costco was a champ at following up on the situation with us. We ended up moving the servicing and our warranty to a retailer closer to us who not only worked to get everything set up, but helped us get hooked up with wireless monitoring which cut out the $42 a month Generator Supercenter of Orlando insisted we have a monitor for. When we switched, they wasted no time sending someone out to take off the module without even checking to see if we would be home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have been in contact with Costco.com Kiosk and as yet have received no response with giving them additional info and pictures. We started the project 2025 Sept 30, (installation started 2026 March 03) as to date we still do not have a system on line (they failed Marion county, FL inspection, both LP gas and electric), they destroyed my front, side and backyard & destroyed my neighbors side and backyard. EXTREME AVOIDANCE with call backs when they say they will, with no communication (text, e-mail or calls). Dirt not taken on day of installation because they didn't have enough bags, but said they would come back. We were told we would get a call back to discuss the inspection report after they looked at it; instead they sent an automated email the morning of April 3rd telling us their field worker was in route and if we were unable to keep this work order to call a phone number as soon as possible. We could have been informed the evening before as they did need inside access. Again they only brought one bag, which wasn't enough and still did not complete the issues from the inspection. They left without saying a word and we have not heard anything today. Because of this, we cannot use our stove/oven and our dryer. The generator is offline. No manager or supervisor has ever called back on our calls...period. They have someone who really can't answer our questions call occasionally. We have never dealt with a company that is supposed to be reputable that behaves this way before. They asked to be paid in full prior to install and we did. All we want is communication and the project completed professionally and to the standards of the industry. They have all of our money and we have an inoperable system.

Do not waste your time

This experience has as been a nightmare from the get go. We’re 3 years in to ownership and every single contact made with this company has been extremely disappointing. We will research for another company to do repairs and maintenance

Trip $$$ ridiculous

We had our generator serviced for the 2nd year in a row. After the 2nd visit, the unit stopped doing its once weekly test. It tested fine before the service call. I reached out and asked why. Heather said they would send someone out but there would be a $250 trip charge, guaranteed by credit card before it would be booked. When I question why it worked before their person did service on it, the response was we will be glad to send someone out. No thanks, off to a new service provider.

Cannot Recommend

Our install turned out to be one of the worst home projects that we have embarked on. Great sales person and front man but literally not one thing he told us came to fruition during the install. Significant lack of communication, project management, and any customer focus or respect for customer property throughout the project. Our install took >9 weeks. The install team was on site only 4-5 days of that time. Most of the communication came from the admin or receptionist from the office. Most all appointments were no-shows. I can't believe that Generac would condone this kind of behavior representing their products. I have no reason to believe the generator will not deliver the required performance but do worry about the quality of the install and its effect on the longevity of the product. If it wasn't our project...this would be comical.

Irresponsible and unprofessional.

My wife made an appointment for a quote and they never called, Then he called to make another appointment for the quote and they never came and never called.

Extremely Happy

Jason came out and gave me a quote. He was very nice and answered all my questions. I was able to see how it worked and they were able to get me financed. I am looking forward to my install.

Reliable company

I did my research and obtained multiple quotes before making a purchase. The salesman for Generator Supercenter made me feel like he was really trying to to help. From explaining the size of the generator I needed to even having a mat to show size and placement. No other dealer did this for me. I would highly recommend installation. The crew was professional and did amazing work.

Great Guys

I was happy with the guys from the start. Their calculation said I needed a 38kW, but Justin explained how I could manage my load and install a smaller and cheaper machine. He took the time to really explain to me ow it works. other places just tell you the smaller generator and don't take the time to explain how it works.

Very helpuful

I started this quest years ago. I had met with a couple of the other dealers but when Justin came out and spoke with me I really learned how this would work. From describing how the machine fits my home to making sure it was still what I needed. It felt like he cared about me getting a generator than just buying it from him. The price felt fair and now that its finally installed after a delay because of this virus I have never felt safer in my home! Thanks again and Ill see you guys come service time.
